“This place is truly a gem in the heart of Saint paul. They do a vast number of different cultural art exhibits and events. We recently attended their Dia de Los Muertos event where they also honored the indigenous children recently exhumed from the catholic schools. They offer a great platform for local artists. Please consider checking this venue out.”

“Recently had a piece framed by FrameWorks and had a great experience! The picture is from Italy, and so it didn’t fit in frames I could find on my own around here. They helped me pick out a frame that really compliments the piece and kept me updated on when it was coming in stock. Highly recommend!”

“I got the Cafe de Olla from here because I was at the Cultural Center for an event and needed a pick me up. It was SO GOOD, and very affordable! Way better than just about every coffee drink I’ve had. Definitely coming back again!”

“I love this place! I was looking for a hand-made ceramic mug for my mom's birthday and found this place. There is hand sanitizer when you come in and everyone was wearing masks, but they are open for shopping and browsing the gallery. The shop has a variety of items, including quite a few unique ceramic pieces by different artists, both functional (mugs, bowls, plates, pitchers, etc.) and more decorative items (vases, tiles, etc.). There is a small gallery space on one side with local artist's work displayed, and a large selection of unique cards, artist-inspired puzzles, children's books, etc. I ended up getting several gifts for friends (several mugs by different artists - about $40/each) and loved that they also had some local jams and tea. There are also painted works on the walls and while the prices were high, the quality is excellent and I'd love to come back and make a purchase of a piece at some point.”

“A St Paul treasurer. Located in a choice position it's the perfect place to drop in and see some fantastic local art before dinner or a baseball game or the shopping at the farmers market. Lots of different shows so chances are each time you check in there will be something different to see. Tons of great gifts available, local as well. Plus you can purchase most of the art that's shown. Why get prints when you can get the real deal!?”

“I have been coming to Shawn since 1993. This is a family owned business that does outstanding work. if you’re an artist she’ll cut the frames for you and let you put it together yourself. She also will cut and replace glass for a framed piece.Shawn takes care of each customer individually so if you come in when another customer is there you might wait. That’s the service that YOU WANT!! Customer service is absolutely down home yet high quality. As for the alley plowing comment—that doesn’t affect customers. You park on street!DON’T HESITATE TO GIVE THIS MERCHANT YOUR BUSINESS. GREAT FRAME SHOP.”

“The folks here were insightful and patient as I browsed for nearly an hour, excited to make my first piece of jewelry. They have so many gorgeous beads, all of which seem to be priced fairly. The fun, sarcastic, and kind personalities of staff are the cherry on top of this bead shop experience.”
