Edit: Read to bottom before taking my review to heart.
This is the worst logistics company I have ever dealt with. What an ETA for your shipment? Good luck, you'll never get it. It'll just show up when it shows up. DO NOT USE THEM, YOU WILL REGRET IT. Also plan on them not picking things up when they say they will. Our last one took a week to pick up. Also, they have no idea where it is after that.
They just send you this when you ask for an ETA:
"Thank you for contacting Estes Express Lines.
The term shipper load and count is the notation on the bill of lading indicating that the contents of the shipment were loaded and counted by the shipper. This also means that the contents were not checked or verified by Estes.
"
I wish I could give them a zero.
EDIT: Also, we still have not received our freight. No one knows where it is. It's a transmission for a pickup truck, not a can of soda. It CAN'T be too hard to find.
UPDATE: I just heard that they LOST the transmission. Will update if I hear more. BEWARE.
UPDATE UPDATE: The plot thickens. Estes helped investigate this further. It appears that the SELLER never gave them the transmission in question. I may have been lied to by the seller from the beginning. However, I was also given some false information from Estes, as they at one point told me that they did pick this shipment up.
So I'm at a crossroads here. My experience I feel might be an anomaly, or fluke. I don't think Estes deserves the brunt of it. I'm changing from a 1 star to 3 because I may not know the whole truth here and just want to move on.

Glad to be back under a caring management, the previous Dayton Freight doesn't care about work / life balance anymore, so after 11 years I had to go elsewhere.

Do not use this company! They are the worst. I had a delivery scheduled for a Monday 8-12. I called at 1pm after no delivery and was told it was never loaded on the truck (and no one decided to call and let me know!) but could I take another morning off work the next day for a 4 hour delivery window? Customer service was terrible, the agent told me they can’t guarantee delivery dates, even though someone called the previous week to schedule it and their hold music says “We guarantee all aspects of your shipment, from shipment to delivery date”.

Do not use this company! They are the worst. I had a delivery scheduled for a Monday 8-12. I called at 1pm after no delivery and was told it was never loaded on the truck (and no one decided to call and let me know!) but could I take another morning off work the next day for a 4 hour delivery window? Customer service was terrible, the agent told me they can’t guarantee delivery dates, even though someone called the previous week to schedule it and their hold music says “We guarantee all aspects of your shipment, from shipment to delivery date”.

The negative reviewers are idiots, who ships a fragile item with no packing materials or not enough packing protection during transport and than have the audacity to blame the transport company when it shows up broken. I have done shipping and receiving for 8yrs; I pack my items like bricks and never had anything arrive broken. I liked using Estes they're quick and less expensive than the other companies.

This service delivered my replacement power scooter from Mississippi to Eagan MN. The PRO number given to me by Dahl Medical Supply store allowed me to track the shipment. I think Estes may have been rough with the crate as my steering handle was not aligned with the front wheel hence had to fix it. Otherwise the delivery was okay.

They have had my shipment for 6 days now.which is a 700 pound pallet .they said it would be here today 3 days in a row.and now on the third day they admit to me they have no idea where it is.i've been home 3 days from work now because they told me it would be here costing me 800 dollars in lost wages .and paid 400 dollars to have it shipped. And the outdoor items theborder is meant to protect are outside unprotected.the amount of dissatifaction i have for estes express is incalculable.please avoid this bumbling bunch of inadequate people.it has yet to be delivered in good condition.agter reading other reviews i am worried its been damaged as well.

I can only add my complaints to the other kazillion. Why would anyone use this company?? We did only because that is where Home Depot farmed our shipment out to. They had our trailer 6 days after it was in town with numerous mistakes and outright lies. Only after Home Depot contacted them did we get our shipment delivered by a driver who did not even work for them. It was definitely a waste of many days of sitting and waiting and being on hold. Try any other company you can.

Too bad there isn't a ZERO stars rating for Estes Express Lines in the Twin Cities. Worst experience ever! Did not notify before arrival, driver was very abrasive, delivery of a $2000 purchase was badly damaged because of being shoved into the delivery truck with a forklift, ripping all the sheathing it was wrapped in & being so tightly packed that the delivery driver couldn't even budge it with a pallet jack. Then the dispatcher called & said they weren't delivering it (while the truck was in the driveway), then he left without any apology or anything. Then 4 days later, Jennifer calls to know if I want the delivery if they rewrap it and bring it out again-- this is after previously spending 2 hours on the phone with Home Depot damaged order & failed delivery, canceled charges, reordering, rescheduling workers at my house, and being pretty dissatisfied about the way Estes was treating me all the way through. Then, to top it off, Jennifer hangs up on me. Good luck if you use this company. My hunch is that they will wipe this review from their website.

I had delivery with them 3 times now and had horrible experience. They had my shipment for days claiming they couldn’t pull up my address in google. Customer service is horrible.
