Excellent experience! Contrary to the negative reviews I have read, my experience at Hertz Minneapolis was wonderful from start to finish. No waiting, very friendly welcome, quick formalities, I received in a few minutes a magnificent SUV, almost new and very clean! I highly recommend

I travel a lot. The staff at this location had to be the NICEST encounter all around I can ever remember dealing with a rental car company. From pick-up to return. So friendly, greeted with honest smiles, good mood, and expedient. Set a great tone for a long work travel day!

Always go with enterprise. Team of 20 lands at 12am and they don't have the 12 and 15 passenger can ready for us. The gentleman with the glasses and accent presents himself as if he doesn't care. We've been waiting over 30 mins at 1:30a for them to "look" for the vans.... Oh not to mention the billing was wrong because he wouldn't look up the state rate reservation number.

UPDATE: The response from the "owner" is the same response you see from every review. I will be interested if anyone tries to contact me. I doubt it.
I flew in from Germany to Minnesota and was to pick up a premium car at the Hertz airport rental. When I got to the counter, there were no employees, so I waited around for a while. Then someone from thrift told me he could help me. I told him that I had reserved a car from Hertz. He said that he can help me with Hertz cars as well. That felt strange, but okay, he did find my reservation. Then he politely asked me if I could give him some money because he had not had anything to eat and he did not have any money. Who does that? I told him that I only had EUROs and he left it at that. I got a car and picked it up in the garage. It was dark and raining quite hard so I didn't really pay much attention to the condition of the car. I drove to my destination without much of a problem. The next morning, I noticed that the interior of the car was dirty. I took some pictures and tried to find out who I could send them too. Unfortunately, if you want to contact Hertz, you must call them and pay for the call. I have a German phone number, so the costs would have been too high, so I just held on to the pictures. I returned the car without any problems. 2 days later I received an invoice for the internal cleaning of the car. I tried to contact them again, but you can't for some reason or another. I have tried many times to contact them over their customer service web page, but it has been down for months. Then I got a customer service questionnaire which I could complete online and so I did. I received a message that someone would contact me within 72 hours. Of course, no one ever has. It is too bad, since I used to rent a lot from Hertz. I am still trying to contact the company over their website, but it is still down. Extremely disappointed.

I have rented at this Hertz location for years but today will be the last. My flight arrived after midnight. Typically my name would be on the gold board with my stall number on it. Today the board was blank. I went to gold members booth but found a large line. There was an older man working the counter. It was clear he had no sense or urgency to address the line at all. He did not call for support nor even ask those in line if they had reservations or not. At one point a friend of his showed up and he took the time to greet him and chat while the line stared in disbelief. The Hertz app was not working nor anyone picking up the customer support line.
Part of this I could forgive for being short staffed but this person clearly was eithee not trained or just didnt give an F.
Whats worse is that when I finally was given a stall number, I watched as someone drove away in it. This was clearly the D team working.
Calling this place, "hurts" is about right.

One of the most painful experiences I've ever had picking up a rental car from this location. Over 90 minutes to get out the airport. The lines at the counter were way too long (1hr wait) and then the line to get out of the garage with only one stall total took over is 30 minutes, (i'm still in the car line to get out of the garage as I am writing this review). Avis was completely booked and I was forced to rent with someone else. Next time. This happens to me. He will not be Hertz.

Received an EV with next to no charge spent hours dealing with charging and finding charge stations. TERRIBLE! Caused way more stress than was needed and returned the car 8 hrs early with out getting and discount on the price. National only charges for the time used regardless of the up front price.

If I could give 0 stars I would.
Car kept giving low oil warning. I had to buy oil and top off because I could not ever get anyone to call us back. Car was filthy and generally maintained poorly.
Impossible to reach anyone at this location or at hertz to get reimbursed. They simply won’t call you back. It used to be a good company but I will never again rent with Hertz.

Nice cars and friendly staff. However my credit card was charged incorrectly in the end and I still have not gotten it fixed yet.
Updated: Still have not updated the incorrect charge!
Please consider Enterprise at MSP. Significantly better service and typically cheaper.

Both the website and automated phone service say this location is 24 hours. I was allowed to book a reservation and check in for pickup at 12:30 AM. When I arrived, the lot was closed with no one at either desk. I now get to make a second trip back to the airport to pick up a car that was supposed to be ready. Extremely disappointing.
