“My experience getting a Covid shot was, as always, quick and painless. All of the staff are very friendly. The owner, John, helped me set up the app on my phone to list all my vaccines. I am very grateful for that, as I wouldn’t have been able to do that myself.”

“This a great store with beautiful gifts! Only one negative is that I gave an employee my name and number to call me of they could order XXXL compression stockings and she said she'd check and call me. In the meantime, I bought three pairs of XXL thinking they might fit. I tried on a pair at home and they were too small. The employee never called and it's now too late to return-around $90 lost. I still have two pairs unopened and in the bag.”

“Out of four surrounding states, this is the only other liqueur store that carries Wray & Nephew white overproof rum, other than one in Rodgers MN. They had plenty in stock and really came through when i was in a pinch. Would recommend coming to this place first before other large name stores. I don't understand why they are not higher up on my local Google search!”

“If you've ever been to a family run pharmacy where people are familiar, caring and kind you'll appreciate Lloyd's pharmacy. They will, want to get to know each and every customer as an unique person making sure you are always given the time, guidance, and best care.”

“I was attending a conference in St. Paul and realized I needed a prescription last minute. I was able to make a same-day telehealth appointment with Health Partners Urgent Care St. Paul Wabasha and they immediately sent the prescription to Allina Health United Pharmacy in the hospital. Fortunately this pharmacy fills prescriptions even if you aren't a patient of the hospital and I was able to pick it up within the hour. Super kind and efficient staff - thank you!”

“I'm normally a long term patient/cust of Cub in Eagan. There was a shortage of a medication I take, there was misinformation very unintentional last friday when I was getting a 2nd partial refill and was told I could go to WSP later in the day to get the remainder of my meds which were in stock.Unfortunately the pharmacy can't nor will insurance allow 2nd refills on the same day but it took hours and bother Peter and Justin here and my pharm ins company to get what the issue was and why I'd have to wait until running a day late and missing a dose to refill again.Just wanted to say I was appreciative of the patience that both Justin and Peter had with me and hopefully they can get recognized for it, I know WSP like Eagan are busy pharmacies so they care and consideration I get with both I appreciate, I just may as much as I love Eagan after last weekends experience use this pharmacy exclusively given the quality of service and care to me by staff.”

“The nurse who gave me my flu vaccination was knowledgeable, very professional, and quite personable. The method he used for administering the shot was just great — pinching my arm just prior to the shot. I hardly felt a thing. We shared some friendly conversation back and forth, which made the experience much more pleasant than is usually the case with receiving vaccines! Thank you for an overall excellent experience.”

“This Genoa is fabulous! First, we were fortunate enough to work with Angela. She got promotoed and now we work with Emily, who is also stellar. Both of these ladies go above and beyond. They are hard-working, ethical, and good problem-solvers. They really care about their customers. We feel fortunate to do business with great people. Thank you, York Ave. Genoa!”

“I LOVE this pharmacy. The people who work here are so kind, they are so patient, and they go out of their way to be helpful. I can always get a hold of someone with questions or to slip in last minute med orders- they answer immediately (I have NEVER had such quick access to any pharmacy that I've called ever- I still hear the hold music of other pharmacies in my nightmares). I am so grateful that the company I work for utilizes them. I never thought I'd be inspired on a Friday evening to write a review for a pharmacy, but that is how much I appreciate these people.”

“Very helpful employee. They did not have what I needed (a non-prescription drug), but she offered to order it for me. I did not take her up on that, but she was great.”

“Cub - St. Paul Phalen does an outstanding job of helping and working with their customers and I would like to commend them on that. Recently, I ordered on-line groceries for my elderly 89 year old mother to be delivered. Cub's Customer Service manager, Ann, gave me a personal call to let me know that they would take special care to make sure that she got her groceries delivery so that I didn't have to go out in 20 degree snowy weather to pick them up. This store continues to service the community with excellent customer service, kindness and helpfulness. Every time I am in this Cub store, I see this 'customer first' attitude in every employee that I have encountered. I would like to recognize them as employees that go beyond what is expected. “This neighborhood pharmacy is the Best. They have been so helpful to us and service is always excellent. Walgreens was a nightmare for so long and CVS too. West Seventh Pharmacy was/is a find!”

“Dana is awesome! Rarely do I call the pharmacy today I did. I was informed the generic brand I get was out of stock so Dana took it upon herself to see if they had any coming in soon. In doing so she saw that my insurance covers the name brand (I didn’t even know that) and she made it possible for me to get my meds. It’s hard to get friendly help these days because everyone is so busy and without enough employees. But that didn’t stop Dana. Thank you DANA @ the west st.paul pharmacy !!”

“This practice believes in putting the patient's needs first, before the pocketbook. Honesty and integrity is worth sticking around for... this is one trait that is extremely inconsistent to keep in business today and if you can find that, I say, stick with it, and the philosophy of all that comes with it!Phalen Pharmacy has always been a trusted source I go to for my medications, vaccines, or a place I recommend others particularly of Asian decent to go to. It's nice to be known by face and name! Their staff has always been respectful, and go out of their way to help me understand my prescriptions. They go the extra mile, and will even speak with doctors on your behalf if they think there is a better alternative for your meds based on your insurance and health history. It's honestly one of the most thorough pharmacies I've experienced!!Overall, if you want a pharmacy that is personable, cares about your phases of care, and bridging the cultural gap in healthcare, I recommend this place. Every place has things they are working on, but I can guarantee a mom n' pop independent pharmacy will have taken more time to truly understand you and your health history, AND advocate for you, than your big business chains (who are so short staff, they just want you in and out... like a fast food chain). So I hope those other's experiences does not overshadow the genuine work I've seen this pharmacy do.P. S. Not to mention it's right next to the Hmong Market, so it's a double win. Great meds, great food, great service!...P. S. S. It's unfortunate the different experiences of some reviewers, but during a time when healthcare workers have been expended and overworked beyond their limit, I hope you'll give them some grace... Also, fyi, med and med supply shortages have been a recent nationwide issue, so take that as you will... (Ok, off my soap box)”

The wait time is usually short too.”

“This is my go to pharmacy. It is conveniently located, though parking can be dicey if you don't want to park in the ramp. The staff all know me and are very friendly. They are responsive to my needs and go out of their way to help me in whatever I need.”

“The pharmacy tech’s and pharmacist here are so wonderful. Today I waited several hours for a prescription to even process at the Walgreens on Grand and was worried it wouldn’t be ready before they closed. I decided to have my doctor transfer my prescription to this location and was able to get it process and picked up within 1.5-2 hours. Amazing staff and turnaround time!!”

“Nice, cozy pharmacy that always tries to accommodate me, even with odder requests like asking for a different generic brand from the one they'd given me recently.

Some of the complaints about the pharmacists who work here make no sense to me, like a complaint from three weeks ago about Mr. Chak, literally the nicest, most friendly guy there is. The complaints about the female pharmacist, Robin, are also overblown -- she's not some bubbly outgoing person, and she is very direct, but she's hardly rude. Sometimes she'll see me and even say hi. These are not rude, mean people who work here.

Given this is a pharmacy, I suspect some of these negative interactions people complain about were because they refuse to accept that there's laws and limits on how frequently you can get your addictive, controlled substances refilled. Personally, when I get that call that it's too early for mine, I just say "okay, thank you" and wait it out because I know they can't do anything about it. Maybe if everyone did that, they would never get into a situation where they think the pharmacists are being rude.”

“I recently switched to CVS from Walgreens. I repeatedly had poor service there and they were under staffed. Since moving over to CVS, I have been verry satisfied with the whole process of refills from start to finish. Refills are done on time, friendly staff and easy to refill. Thank you!”
