“I've been shopping here for years now and it's one of my favourite spots in the Twin Cities. First of all, the owners are just really kind and welcoming people. Secondly, it's one of those shops where I never come away empty handed. Lots of well selected cool vintage items, a nice selection of clothes and there's always some great records in stock. It's well organised and even the music playing is usually great. Just a really cool place to check out.”

I had an event in two days and with some specificities Hailey had 6 dresses picked out and waiting for me to try on within 10 minutes flat. I tried them all but fell in love with the first. “There are a lot of great thrift and vintage stores in the area, but Up Six is consistently my favorite. The fact that the post new sizes for their dresses makes shopping for old dresses soooooooooo easier.
They also do a pretty good job of rotating in and out their inventory, so you can go back reasonably often and find new stuff.”

“The shop repaired the wicker seat from a rocking chair that had been in my family for many years. The seat was replaced nicely without damage to the chair, but I was a little disappointed that the stain of the new seat did not quite match the stain of the back of the chair. It took 3 months' time and almost $300, to give an idea for other customers. I was happy to give the time and money to support a small local business; but I am still disappointed that the stain didn't match, which is the kind of detail that I also expected from a small business. At any rate, at least they were nice.”
“This store has the most absolutely unique gems I’ve found in a while! They size everything by waist size making it a dream for navigating vintage sizing! They even have Edwardian pieces. It felt part museum and part store! Def worth checking out!”
“I'm truly shocked at the bad reviews here. Apparently, the owner requesting customers to leave bags at the counter upon entering the store and to treat her merchandise with respect triggers a surprising number of people. I adore this shop, the owner and her sweet pup; it's a delightful treasure-trove of surprises with every turn. I recently moved back to the W. 7th neighborhood and was elated to discover that this shop hasn't closed, but just moved a few doors down the street (AND has several great new-to-me vintage shop neighbors, too!). The owner is hilarious, helpful, super-interesting and really knowledgable about her objects and her pup is a doll. Once I dig my way out of moving boxes, I will be back!”
“I LOVE this store and have found quite a few hidden gems here. Only issues are there's no bathroom and a lot items have overpowering odors of cat pee. I understand donations come from homes with pets but there should be a higher quality standard reguarding accepting clothing that can't be salvaged for reselling purposes.”

“They have some very unique pieces in this store but prices can be more expensive because they carry a lot of designer brands. The basement has a great clearance section. There's something for everyones budget though.”
