This location is blocks from my house, but I will be getting in my car to go somewhere less convenient from now on. That is how bad it is here. I mean I guess if you happened to win "business hours" roulette, and they're actually open, or you successfully complete a transaction because you weren't stuck in a line for a half hour while the 1 employee who works here chit chats with her friend/customers while everyone in the line all glare, you might have a different impression. But those are unlikely scenarios so take my word for it, it's bad. Really bad. Like, makes going to the DMV feel like a treat.

Love this post office all because of the one lighter haired woman who seems to always be working! She always has ideas about how to save money on shipping costs - and despite being the only working (generally with a decent line of folks) she always is kind and has a smile for everyone. I’ve never experienced any issues or abnormally long wait times.

they close early for whatever reason so get there well before their posted closing time.A place like this shouldn’t be closing whenever they want like that, they should go by their posted hours

I got out of work early, parked and was walking towards the door of the USPS on Robert Street and a blonde women raced to lock the door from the inside and then pretended she couldn’t hear or see me. It was FOUR THIRTY and they supposedly close at FIVE! A bunch of folks came to the door right after me and we stood around knocking and waving for her to open the door while she assisted a customer inside and refused to acknowledge us. At 4:50 she escorted the customer to the back of the store and turned the lights off and disappeared… unbelievably unprofessional. People get out of work early to be able to send packages and check the mailboxes and this store is ridiculous in how it treats customers and has total disregard for people.

I have been using the West Saint Paul Post Office for about 15 years. And service was pretty decent at first. But somewhere over the years it has failed. They are constantly closing early Monday through Friday with Sorry excuses for explanation. The hours Monday through Friday Are 9:30 AM to 5 PM Saturdays, 9:30 AM until 1 PM. I have tried to get my mail, and they are closed between 4:45 and 4:50, and when the clerk comes to the door and says I've been here all day by myself. So we are now closed or says my clock says it's 5 o'clock when I can clearly prove that it's not. I rush from work to get my mail and deal with this and I'm over it!!! This is ridiculous. This is unprofessional and not good business practice. Something has to change ASAP.

This Post office loves to close early - they are supposed to be open until 5 pm - I showed up today 10-10-23 at 4:40pm and the short blonde lady locked the door as I was walking up to it. So many people were trying to get in - If you’re supposed to be open until 5 then stay open until 5. This happens all the time at this location

The blonde hair women on 6/21 was so rude. She kept very obviously rolling her eyes while I was trying to navigate the change of address process.

Paid for 3 day shipping. Mail carrier didn't show up to my address for over a week. Had to call and demand a refund to get my mail.

The blonde hair , short lady to the right of the counter is the most rude and obnoxious individual.She talks, talks talks.The Worst Customer Service than any of the USPS in Saint Paul,MN.She holds the line up talking and chatting and gossping out loudly. I'm a business owner and she would be FIRED and replaced with such a ugly attitude.If you have a busy day ahead avoid doing business at this location she takes up too much of your time.
