I had a very scary situation that happened to me near here, the staff helped me get things situated and sorted out. They checked on me often and were so kind and nice. I regret that I didn’t write down the name of the server but he was blonde and I think he had glasses. I was super impressed with the fact that not only did the staff check on me and my table often but so did the manager. You just don’t get that type of service nowadays and it’s the first time I’ve experienced that kind of service all my years living in Minnesota. It truly turned a very sour day into a great one which was what I needed :) !”
“Would I eat salads without this place? Only if they cost 18$ each from a restaurant. Vinegars good enough to keep me eating salad on a daily basis at home. You really can't go wrong with any of the selection.”
“I've photographed 3 weddings now at FIVE Event Center and have had nothing but great experiences every time! Robyn and all of the staff have been exceptional and the space it absolutely beautiful and well taken care of. The two getting ready spaces are very convenient and both the upstairs and downstairs have great spots for portraits and other photos. Additionally, there are some beautiful outdoor areas that are walkable too for a variety of photos. Looking forward to shooting here again!”

“As a wedding photographer, I would highly recommend Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens to any couple searching for a picturesque wedding venue. The riverside views are absolutely beautiful, and the property offers so much variety for portraits throughout the day. From the ceremony space overlooking the water to the reception area and all the little tucked away spots for photos, everything photographs so naturally and beautifully.
I’ve always loved how peaceful and intentional the atmosphere feels, but what really sets Leopold’s apart is how truly amazing their staff is. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure their couples are taken care of, which helps the day run smoothly and makes such a difference for photos, too. When a couple feels supported and the timeline flows well, it creates such a calm, joyful experience, and that always shows in the images.

“Attended a wedding there, the staff was fantastic but that was about where the highlights end. I did appreciate that the DJ announcements and microphones were clear and loud as in a big open space like that it can get hard to hear announcements or speeches clearly. I don’t really understand the space being used for a wedding I could see business meetings, expos, holiday parties maybe but the industrial vibe and wedding themes don’t really mix well in my opinion. The layout is a bit convoluted to me as there’s only one set of stairs and one elevator. With a lot of guests the traffic jams can happen very fast. The upstairs space is nice but the walkway around the open area is pretty narrow I would’ve expected it to be wider to accommodate many guests. They also put two bars right next to each other so everyone congregated over there versus if they had set them up with more space in between it would’ve encouraged guests to roam about the space to be better utilized. I also would’ve expected an outdoor balcony or even secluded patio area for guests to get fresh air but there wasn’t one. Overall the venue was nice but not that impressive.”

“This place, along the Mississippi, is such a relaxing place to watch the River Rats Waterski Show. They offer concessions, but I bring my own picnic basket, as do others. The large grassy area is on a sloped bank, but you can still find a sturdy place for your lawnchair or blanket. Plenty of trees if you need shade.”
“My wife and I just had our wedding reception here and Perfect is the only word that kept coming to mind when I started trying to sum up my experience. However everything was too good to accurately describe with the word perfect. Setting up our event was totally stress free. The staff was so professional and helpful and kind. I could keep going but I want to get to the food before you get bored and stop reading. It was roll your eyes back into your head delicious. And we kept our menu simple. Every expectation I had was exceeded by orders of magnitude and I had high expectations. Do your event here. You will not regret it.”

As a Minneapolis wedding and elopement photographer, it was especially nice getting to photograph such a beautiful wedding so close to home. The venue was absolutely gorgeous, and everything throughout the day felt seamless. Every vendor I worked alongside was amazing, and everyone worked together so well to keep the day running smoothly. There were truly no issues, which made it such an enjoyable experience both for the couple and for us as vendors. “It's a nice student union. A good food court. Computer lab, attached parking garage (not the cheapest parking on campus, but very convenient). Plenty of spaces to study on various floors, though it becomes difficult to find free spots around lunch time. Student groups can reserve spaces in the second and third floors.”

1st Thursday night of each month and every Saturday they open up for visitors. also they put on huge shows with the surrounding buildings in fall and spring. All free and amazing to see!”

Three different researchers presented information about their projects, and how this related to sustainability of the environment. The Coffman Memorial U ion theater served well for this purpose. The theater is comfortable, and visuals and acoustics are good.”

“U.S. Bank Stadium is such an impressive place! The stadium is absolutely beautiful, modern, and even more amazing to see in person. The size and design are breathtaking, and the atmosphere during an event is incredible.
We had a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Everything felt well organized, the stadium was clean, and there were plenty of food and drink options throughout. Even with a large crowd, it was easy to navigate and find where we needed to go.
Whether you’re coming for a Vikings game, concert, or another special event, U.S. Bank Stadium is definitely worth experiencing. There’s something so exciting about walking in and seeing the entire stadium open up in front of you. Such a fun and memorable experience — highly recommend! 💜🏟⭐”
“Time really does fly. I remember I was a senior in HS attending the MN Cars & Coffee in Canterbury Park in Shakopee! But the last time I attended the event was when it was in southdale mall. “Pretty good venue overall. Smaller than a lot of other concert venues in the twin cities, but that's neither here nor there. Bathrooms are up a flight of stairs, but they do have a lift for disabled individuals. Sound quality was good throughout the entire venue (I could still here the music clearly at the restrooms on the other side of the venue). It was a bit chilly in there when we went, so I'd suggest bringing long sleeves just in case. Drinks are just as expensive as they are at any other concert venue, but I will say that they definitely don't skimp on the actual alcohol on the mixed drinks. Overall a pretty good experience”
