“I'd like to give LaMettry's 5 stars for effort alone, but I can't. Having my car in for a repair after an accident in which the other driver drove into the side of my car, LaMettry's took exactly 6 months to the day to get my car repaired. My car is German, and shipping delays accounted for a month's wait time. It took another month to complete the repairs and repaint the side of the car. So why 6 months and not 2 months? LaMettry's kept getting things wrong. Repeatedly. To their credit they always wanted to make it right. The car needed to be repainted three times. Panels or doors kept not being aligned properly. A lot of details kept being missed, or they'd fix one and then create another, or forget about one more thing. I believe I had the car back in to their shop at least six more times over those additional 4 months, and it was only completed on the 6 month anniversary of when I originally dropped the car off because I contacted the general manager and told him it was the 6 month anniversary since I'd dropped the car off. He had me bring the car in that day for the last item to fix, something I'd been waiting on for a month, despite his weekly updates on why it couldn't be done during that month.
LaMettry's was my only real choice for where to get my car repaired, since they're the only shop in town certified to work on my brand of car, and since the repair was serious, involving body/frame damage, and the car was relatively new (under 10K miles), I wanted the repairs to be as close as possible to how it was out of the factory, which is what those certifications are for.
So I'll rank LaMettry's like this (out of 5 stars):

“LaMettry’s was extremely helpful. They were fast in getting an estimate back for me and my insurance. They were super flexible in letting me go clean out my after gettign it deemed a total loss. One of the workers even came out from doing his job to help me when my seat was stuck! Which he did not have to do. So i appreciate him doing that! Office staff was so friendly and made quick work of everything i needed! Hopefully i wont need them again? but if i do ever- as someone not from the cities this is my new too place! I will forever trust them!!”

“I had a great experience with Solar Shield from start to finish.
When Bobby (sales representative) arrived at my home, I explained that I was very concerned about security—especially to protect my cats—and that my initial instinct was to fully “seal” the house with security film. Instead of simply trying to sell me the most expensive option, Bobby took the time to carefully assess the entire house and gave me an honest, professional recommendation. He explained that going all-in would be unnecessary and honestly overkill, and instead guided me toward solutions that were much more aligned with my actual needs and budget.
He walked me through different film options, clearly explained the differences, and recommended a few that made the most sense. I never felt pressured—just well-informed. That level of honesty and customer-first mindset is something I truly appreciated.
On installation day, Tyler and Liam handled the work, and they were excellent. They clearly explained the plan from the beginning—starting in the garage and main door, then moving to the basement, living room, and finally the kitchen. The whole process took about 2–3 hours.
Both were very professional, approachable, and had a great service attitude throughout. They explained what they were doing, answered questions, and made sure everything was done properly. I could immediately notice the difference, especially in the basement with the shaded film.
Before leaving, they also gave clear instructions on how to care for the windows, what to expect over the next 30 days, and emphasized not to disturb the film during that curing period.
Overall, Solar Shield delivered a professional, efficient, and honest service. I’m very pleased with the results and would absolutely recommend them.”
