09/2024: Unfortunately, the monthly rental cost has been increasing and we pay 40% more than our friends who rented about 2 weeks before us. The costs are on the higher end and a few times the gate or doors have been broken/inaccessible. The climate controlled units are still great themselves though.”
“After having a terrible exit from my old rental space to be able to find a place like extra space and great people like Jonathan, helping me in the process, made it all smooth transition as possible. I like that it’s always clean and not very busy at the times I go and I like the inside loading garage , pull in close the garage door, loading and unloading summer or winter cold issues or rain. I recommend Extra Space Storage.”

She was kind, patient, and understanding, never pushy, and really took the time to help me find the right unit for my needs. The facility itself is spotless and very convenient, with indoor units where you can park inside to load and unload. It made the whole process so much easier. “I rented a unit based on safety and convenience after downsizing my shop. Christian was super helpful and very kind to me during my contract. I moved to smaller units over the 2 yr period and he was helpful in securing different units for me. You know exactly what you’re getting and of course the price goes up every so often. Either a bell in your heads goes off in your pocketbook or you get your butt in gear and discard/donate your stuff. I never felt like I was paying too much for a secure and safe storage unit.

“Gopher State Storage is an excellent, secure place to store from small units to open air lot (RV). Management is friendly and make moving in and out a breeze. We had a wonderful experience with them and would use them again.”
“Clean space. Nice mgmt. The entire time I have been renting though, at least one door is broken. Getting inside is the most difficult access I've ever come across. Terrible. I'll be looking around again.
Update: Uhaul has bought out Extra Storage which is what this review was for. Uhaul has been excellent. Changing my star rating to 5.”

“I stored my belongings during a move for 6 months. The place was secure and everyone who helped me move said that the set up is great for getting trucks and vehicles in and out of the area. They accommodated the cube company I used so they could just drop off the cube and pick it up after it was off-loaded.”

“I rent a lot of U-Haul‘s because I own a Moving Company. Shakopee, mini storage is the best U-Haul neighborhood dealer in the Metro area. I would rather rent from them than a couple of the U-Haul franchise locations. They have a lot of trucks available and their after hours Key system is always accurate.”
