For years, my wife and I have loved walking thru all the different homes at Anderson Homes. We even bought and now live in one of these homes. We love it!!!

We had a great experience at Anderson homes. We had a piece of land in the woods that we had been dreaming of placing a cabin on. We had a tight budget and priced out many options. Anderson homes made our dream a reality. We worked with Dave, I would recommend him. We didn’t feel pressured and he was very responsive when we had questions. Also, a shout out to Hydee in scheduling, she was great! We had the foundation inspected afterwards by an outside vendor because we were unfamiliar with manufactured home foundations. The inspector said they did everything 100% correctly and was very impressed. Great job Anderson homes!

DO NOT BUY FROM ANDERSON HOMES!!!They are liars and will deceive you in any way possible to get a sale. Once they have your $ you become chopped liver. They delivered a brand new house full of water damage and mold. We had requested multiple times to view the home prior to delivery but were told it was inaccessible. We later found out from one of the workers this was a blatant lie as they were attempting to repair the water damage and remove mold. It took weeks to get the rest of mold removed and replaced. They treated us like we were buying a $2000 used car at a new car dealership. Communication was terrible, craftsmanship was poor. We had more problems then I can type.

Do not buy a home from this company. We have not lived in our house for even a year yet, and it is sad the amount of work we have had to do on our home. They damaged the home moving it in, and told us they would come back to fix it, and then they told us we just fix it our self, and send them a bill for out time, and supplies. We dealt with a salesman named Scott, and once he got our money he didn't care about us at all. So far we have put probably 30 hours of work into the Brand NEW home fixing it. Issues we have had so far: we had to replace all the grout in the whole house since it was all broken and not sealing properly, we had to replace a cabinet already since it fell apart the the first month living in here, the drawers in this house needed new runners because they wouldn't open properly and would fall out if you opened them too far, and we are still waiting for them to come fix the cracks in our drywall, and replace our missing siding on the house. We paid +90K for a house I don't think we are wrong to expect better quality.

This place was so awesome. They had so many model homes to walk through.

I have gone on their lot twice, and BOTH times ended up with housing debris in my tires and I've replaced my second tire today. LARGE metal debris in my tires, both times. I suggest you DON'T drive through the lot because they obviously don't keep up with cleaning maintenance on their lot. If you go, just walk through. Most places I've been to, have their lots clean and WARN you to not drive on it if they haven't been able to clean their roads.

I suggest looking else where. We bought a house from them 4 years ago. Contacted them many times on the terrible flooring problems. The floor has many spots with bubbles and already needs to be replaced and only 4 years old! They always came up with excuses to not return calls or even work with us on our house issues. There were more than flooring issues but that was the huge complaint. We worked with Dave and we were never offered options that we could of upgraded or changed plans on our house. They need people who know all the options when it comes to selling homes. Very poor service! Do not recommend ever buying a house from them again. Do the research and find a well established place that backs up the house they sell.

This was a horrible experience! I was lied to so many times I lost count regarding the completion of my home. Their workers harassed me because I called the boss to let them know they were leaving the job site after a few hours of work. The drywall/flooring subcontractor did an awful job and it had to be torn out and replaced putting us so far behind our “approximate” move in date. We thought we’d be moving in by the end of November 2021 because we ordered it in April 2021. We are currently in the house, but it’s still not complete. We moved in the 2nd week of March, 2022.I filed a complaint with the BBB and it was no problem for Anderson because their integrity is so bad they lied and said our home was completed in January 2022.The things to know… don’t believe anything they say. If you care about quality and integrity, this is not the place for you.PS.Scott was the worst, once he gets his money he washes his hands if you and tells you “I’m only a salesman”Services: Home building

READ TO THE END, ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE We ordered a house 3/2021 with Dave who was attentive to our needs &communicated with us. We were first told that our house would be delivered in June, which got pushed back 3 more times &finally arrived October 5th.The process then is that they send contractors to do the finishing work on floors, ceilings, walls etc to make the work look seamless. 2 men from Fargo showed up for the weekend to do this. They siliconed a board to our ceiling that was 3-4 ft to short and was for our garage, didn't sand while tape & texturing, left huge gaps in the plank flooring, took a hack saw to our casing around our patio door cutting into the frame. Baseboards weren't nailed to the wall, some to short, some cracked completely length wise in the middle. They got texture all over doors, frames, floor, light fixtures, light switch &outlet covers, cupboards, our brand new dryer. they didnt stretch our carpets, they put the carpet on the outside of the door frames so when door closes carpet is in the hall way, our transition stripes from carpet to hardwood didny match, they put in a gold strip down cracks in the sheetrock from settling were not fixed. They were also supposed to put door trim up, didn't. They never cleaned up 1 thing, they didn't tape or lay plastic down. Absolutely the worst work ever seen. We informed Anderson & sent them 80+ photos of the horrible work that was done so they said they would have them come back and fix it. We are now to Thanksgiving weekend & a man came back, he wasn't of the first two who showed up. He took down the board on our ceiling & left. We got back from vacation & called Anderson again. We informed them they can't come back we know a local contractor who they need to contact & get this fixed. Almost a whole month goes by of us trying to connect with Anderson, no one calls us back, no replying to our emails nothing like we weren't their customers anymore. They got the house delivered, job done. We then involved our banker who called to talk to them &that they need to call us back.So Mark & Mike are brothers & owners. Mark called me & ask us to give those men 1 more chance because they already paid them. not going to happen they came twice, made our house look awful. not our problem they were paid before the work completed was known to be good or bad. Mark then told me I was being difficult. I have pictures of the horrific work done to our house. Their answer was often "well you live all the way out there". Maybe you should sell houses all the way out there if you can't take care of your customers &do your job. Anderson homes will not make it right. I found contractors to fix everything with no help from them, spending hours calling Anderson because they didn't keep in contact with our contractors.Over $10k in repairs to our brand new home were needed. We fought for Anderson to pay our contractors, had to involve a lawyer, spent another $8k in extra living expenses because we couldn't move into our new house. The whole time our house was getting fixed by our competent contractors, we never once called to see how things are going. I've talked to Mark, Mike, Heather, Hydee, Bryan none of which must talk to each other because every time I called them they would pass the buck or say I haven't heard. don't leave messages they won't call you back. If you do talk to them they say they will call you back, they don't. Horrific customer service. I called to ask what they are going to do about the extra living expenses we had. Mike said no they will not make things right by helping with added expenses. Buying a house is supposed to be a fun and exciting moment in your life. Buying a house from Anderson homes has been an absolute nightmare. I would never advise even my worst enemy to buy a house from them. Believe me save yourself from the headaches these people will cause you and order your house anywhere but here. There are many 1 star

Now I understand why their slogan is "king of the road" and NOT "king of customer service". No communication, very rude. Do not work with Scott. I cannot speak for anyone else who works there. If I could go back in time and not buy a house from them I WOULD. The house we are getting is not worth all of the stress we have gone through with this terrible company. PLEASE listen to the 1 star reviews and not buy from this place. I wish I would have! :(

Inlaws bought a house from here. The salesman Scott was a chronic lier, and extremely deceitful. If you dare to do business with this place, make sure ever little detail is on paper and signed by you and Anderson homes, otherwise the salesman promis the world and once your house is built and not right, they say "that's just the way it is" would never recommend this place to anyone.
