I have always had courteous service from this bank and the one in Lakeland when I lived there...but then I am courteous to them as well. Perhaps some of these complainers should look to themselves as possibly surly customers who blame the bankers for short staffing when it is so difficult to hire workers who want to and will work an 8 hour day.

Frustrating experience at the drive through teller today. I drove up and was the only car there. I waited at the window for a moment when the teller said she would be with me in a minute. I watched as she continued to do paperwork - not waiting on a customer, just doing paperwork. I waited five minutes and was getting a little impatient as I had things to do. Another car pulled up and was greeted promptly by a different teller who had just appeared and proceded to take this person's carrier that they had sent into the bank. I honked my horn lightly and said, "I was here first and haven't been waited on." The teller informed me that she was merely greeting the other guest and that I would be next. What I'm not sure about is why she was holding this other person's banking business in her hand but no one had taken my banking transaction from me yet, if I was to be waited on next. One could see why I would assume she was waiting on the other person ahead of me. I've had a few frustrating experiences over the years with US Bank and am seriously considering moving on to another bank. I ended up leaving and skipping the banking I had planned to do, and frankly, I felt like US Bank really didn't care about me or my business. Super annoyed. Depositing and cashing checks should not be this frustrating or time consuming.

I have had one or more accounts with this local bank for over half-a-century. We are now treated like criminals, not valued customers. Now, every time we pay a bill or deposit or withdrawal $500 in cash or more we have to show our identification and sometimes answer personal questions. There have been times that my driver's license was expired, my temporary license was expired because it took the state 7 months to send out my driver's license. They would not even allow me to do any transactions with my account even though they knew me and I have been banking there for over 50 years! The only reason they cite for this policy is after 9/11 happened our federal government came out with a (know-your-customer policy.) They should certainly know us by now. We are not terrorists! If they can't clear us yet to make a $500 transaction without tracking and recording us there is something terribly wrong. And as with all robotic employees in our country now, they only have one response. " we are just doing as we are told by management or corporate Etc."
Seriously, I have begun to ask some employees with the government, banking, and medical institutions. " if you are told to load people onto box cars to be sent to the crematoriums, are you just going to say that you are doing what you are told to do?" I'm serious, at what point will people stop being a bunch of lemmings and question the unconstitutional things that are being done to all of us? Nuff said.

Worst customer service. Been turned away due to “not having time” to exchange our cash and coins. They literally have machines that do this for them. So they are just lazy. I can go to TCF across the bridge and be in and out in under 10 minutes all while being treated like a customer and not a burden! Beyond fed up with this branch and the rude staff. I work in customer service and I cannot believe how this branch allows employees to treat customers.

Speedy service, and the worker was kind and helpful. Sometimes it takes a while if they're busy with other customers, but that's to be expected.
