“I came in to this credit union based on a mail flyer about lower credit for refinancing car loan. The first time I came in was on a Saturday and the gal I had was very nice, but we could not unfreeze it.
I came in the following Thursday and she was able to get it frozen for me. Her name is JYNAH LASH. I was here for over two hours and she was an incredible incredible lady. I could not get over the difference in my two credit unions. The other one was much less accepting and friendly. I am so blown away. I’ve been telling everybody about Genesis since I came Thursday! I have some brain difficulties and she accepted them and just worked with me like I was a normal person! The manager had introduced himself and he too was nice. MARINA was the first one to help me and she was a sweetheart too
I appreciated her expertise in her knowledge and her kindness and her help especially with my lack of ability on an iPhone! Keep her around! The lady at the desk too what’s her name? Oh, it’s Shirley she is also an incredible person. Everybody is so friendly here so kind and I feel really like it’s a family!”

“Expedition Credit Union is an absolute joke. you have no access to your money. Unlike what they tell you, the daily limit is a 100, weekly is 200 and monthly is 400$. Do not bank with them! To add to the insult their website is slow, confusing and very restrictive.”

“I've been extremely impressed with Heartland ever since I started banking with them when they opened their branch in Hugo a year ago. Out of the gates I saved a bunch of money refinancing my truck loan to a lower rate and the folks at the Hugo location are super helpful and friendly. The Minnesota DMV messed up my title transfer (go figure) and Amanda the branch manager was on top of it right away to get it corrected. When my 7 year old wanted to set-up her very first bank account, they went above and beyond - explaining to her how everything worked with a savings account, how to bring her money to the bank to keep it safe, etc. and gave her a little kids piggy bank as well. Believe the hype - there really are a lot of benefits to working with a small, local financial institution and you can tell Heartland cares about you as a customer!”

I've been with Trustone my entire life and have no reason to go anywhere else.
The only reason I removed a star was because I felt that some follow-ups associated with one of my accounts were not timely or clear. It wasn't detrimental to my finances, but it was a minor annoyance that could have been fixed with an email.
Otherwise, the staff are so friendly, professional, and still personable enough to make it feels less sterile than some other banks I've visited.”
