“Definitely, a small-town liquor store but it has everything you need. Usually super friendly service and never too much of a line. It's an easy get in get out situation. They are easy to approach for a suggestion. They even gave a suggestion of a better value of a Valentine's Day travel Fireball set instead of buying them individually. They typically have a great inventory. Prices are reasonable for a smaller spot.”
“Great shop Sean the owner is very kind and very knowledgeable about his products. It seems like a little when shop but it has s great selection of of scotch, whiskey, bourbon and others in a variety of prices. Definitely a great place to stop in a look around. Watch out for the hole by the register its a wine chiller!”

“I have never been in a wine & spirits store that even remotely comes close to the selection of Total Wine in Chanhassen, MN. The staff is first class and they thoroughly understand the premium products they are selling. My wife and I always enjoy a stop at Total Wine as we know we leave with an excellent selection due to a helpful staff. The staff also carefully bags or boxes our items and couldn't be more gracious. Traits that not every liquor store has out of state.”

“I have appreciated Kowalski’s for decades. Only recently have I come to realize that their Excelsior location is nearly perfect for 2 retired people. Ultimate in customer service and best stock of any place I shop. They have better freshness (dated packages are significant). Two people want 18 “Vital Farms” eggs to be great until they are used.It’s great to have lunch at one of best Asian restaurants from the same parking lot. Just ask and your grocery order will be brought to your vehicle. Parking is free, but limited. We have always found a space without trouble.”

As someone with stellar liquor stores near me in the cities, I couldn't have been more amazed and will definitely stop in every time I'm out here again just to find what has sold out last week from our local breweries in the cities. What a hidden gem. Really fair pricing, as well! Don't support Total Wine, people, or you will lose such gems, and as history shows, Total Wine will raise their prices to market value when running enough of Mom & Pops out. Don't cry to us when it happens if you choose to save a few bucks now... you WILL pay the same there in a year or two.”

“Little more in cost than L&B, but the location was convenient. We picked out some tasty items not in the Deli Department (like I thought we would), but in the sushi/rolls area. It was very nice to have everything right there: chopsticks/extra soy sauce/selection of different rolls. Michael at the register was a rock star-finding and adding a rubber band to our packaging (since the packaging probably would have popped open). We enjoyed our alfresco lunch in the park, thanks to Kowalski's (and Michael).”
