This place is beyond horrible. Defrauded me if $26,000.00 and Wells Fargo does not care. Manager could not help me resolve the problem and the next day he was no longer employed at WF. Another personal banker said quote, “ I have no idea how this could happen!” And did nothing to help me.

A storied track record of terrible service and complete lack of quality control. The only thing this circus is missing is free popcorn in the lobby.Chosen any other location. District level employees won't admit that problems exist, and would rather gaslight than acknowledge the history of the companyQuestions: Why would a teller ask a banker if we can do name change in the mobile app? A complete lack of product knowledge. Why would a banker advise a customer to deposit a third-party check into the ATM not signed over correctly because the check is under BSA review limits? A complete lack of ethics. And why would an employee choose to write down a FOREX order on a post-it note even after telling the employee that she should be writing it in the book? A complete lack of concern for the member experience. The order never came in...go figure.

I made appointment with Thomas Coppersmith to help transfer my Roth IRA to regular Brokerage account. He called at 10AM to confirm the appointment and asked me what I needed. I told him what I needed and he said "I will see you at 2pm". I came early and waited until 2:10. Someone had to come and remind him, I still waited for him. He came out. We went to his cube and he asked " so what do you need again?" with agitated voice. I told him what I need and he said "Unfortunately I can't help you" you will need to call wells trade and they will help you through the phone. I asked " why didn't you tell me on the phone ealier when we talked this morning " he said " I didn't know what you want to do" then I asked " why didn't you ask me to clarify so we both don't waste our time like this". He has nothing to say.If you want to waste your time, come to this brand.

Their only outside ATM was out of order, and it appeared to be that way for a while. And their lobby hours are difficult to get to if you work a normal office job.

The pandemic has clearly gutted the experienced staff so it feels like children running a bank (they don’t even know what “ETA” means). Need to access your important items in a safety deposit box? You’re gonna wait for an undetermined time because there aren’t enough people. Your stuff is their hostage. Guests are not served in order. If there’s no benefit in using a national bank, don’t use them. This branch, purportedly in an important location for wealth in the Twin Cities, is a prime example of why banks like WF have lost relevancy during the pandemic.It was just as bad last winter when no one in this branch knew how traveler’s checks work and had to spend 30 minutes calling an adult somewhere in the WF system that actually knew. Walked into the Edina BofA and they immediately knew how to handle it.

There were twice as many employees walking around as there were customers and it still took them ~20 minutes to help me. I will say everyone I spoke with was friendly and polite, but there’s no sense of urgency when it comes to helping their customers. Given other reviews, I’d try a different location.

Can I go below 1 star???? I stopped to add my wife to my account and was told they couldn't help me and they would call me to make an appointment. The call never came so my wife and I stopped in again to try and get it done. Again, customer service guy ( the same guy who promised me a call from a banker) was long on excuses and short on action and I still gont nothing done. When I said maybe I should just close my accounts I was invited to do so by customer service guy but then was told I'd have to make an appointment to do so. The rest of the story is that on the way home we stopped at the Plymouth branch on Hwy 55 and were helped by a very good banker who had everthing done for us in 10 minutes, less than half the time we waited in Wayzata for customer service guy to give us all of his excuses.

Abysmal. Good luck getting them on the phone or getting any help. It should be illegal to operate this poorly.
