“I received a text from Matt that he had a delivery for me, that it was too cold to leave it outside. I was a few minutes from home and when I got there, he had the arrangement for me. They were a gift from my coworkers the day after I had to put my dog down. I was very emotional when I received them, and Matt was so kind and caring even though I was a blubbering mess. He asked about my dog and said that he must have been a really good boy. I was truly touched by the kindness that Matt from Spruce Floral showed me and it made my day to have this beautiful arrangement show up.”

It was one of the prettiest arrangements I have seen, done in my favorite colors, and it lasted longer than any other I have had. The flowers were so fresh that they were still beautiful after two weeks, when I finally changed the water; after that they were good for another week or more. I highly recommend this florist!
I have learned since then that they are very nice to work with as well. Lots of creative ideas and options, including bringing in your own vase if you prefer.”

She asked a lot of questions at our first meeting to get us a proper quote and was great about providing updates along the way if we had any different ideas we wanted to add. She exceeded our expectations and the flowers at our wedding were absolutely stunning. Dawn and her husband drove to our venue the day of and set up everything exactly how we wanted it, with just a little direction from our day of coordinator. They even provided candles and vases for our dinner tables! The only issue we had was with the corsages staying on for moms/grandmas, but that wasn’t too big of a deal! I will recommend Apple Blossom Flowers to everyone!”

The advice I received was spot on, the atrangement they made exceeded my expectation (and I saw a representation of it beforehand) and the delivery was made just as promised. My daughter and her husband were over the top effusive about the gorgeous floral arrangement which kind of surprised me because they are usually quite laid back. “Yes, hyvee prices are higher than nearby competitors (this is my main draw back and why I'm rating the store only four stars). However, the store has a much wider selection. Take for example today when I needed a small salmon fillet. I checked at an unspecified nearby grocery store with considerably lower prices, but was unable to find what I needed. Any other day I would have found an alternative to save me the trip to another store, but with a wild adolescent weasel roaming my basement, I was not willing to risk it. Thankfully Hyvee had exactly what I needed-4oz salmon fillets are sold at their seafood counter! (fingers crossed the salmon works. Otherwise I'll need to find another way to lure out the vermin) One things for sure, next time I have to get bait for a wild animal in my house, I'll save myself the time and go to hyvee right away!”
“This was my first-time shopping at Hy-Vee. I've heard that they can be a bit pricey, but this time I decided to visit the floral section to pick up a flower for a friend who's sick in the hospital. I was on a tight budget and didn't know much about flowers, so I approached Lori Nelson, who was working on another order. Despite being busy, she stopped what she was doing and greeted me with a smile. Lori went above and beyond to help me find the perfect flower and offered some wonderful ideas. I am incredibly grateful for her kindness and outstanding customer service. Hy-Vee is fortunate to have someone like her on their team.
