“Nine Lives is a fun and exciting place to shop. There’s always something new to see, and Roxanne and team are truly kind folks. I really enjoy my weekly trips I’ve been making lately, I feel welcomed and I always walk away from conversations feeling hopeful and inspired in some way or another. There’s definitely lots of love and good vibes here!

As a thrift store, where they rely solely on donors, I think they do a phenomenal job of sourcing a wide range of options that suits everyone! Well done Nine Lives!”

“Love the store!! Reasonably priced items. Haven’t sold to them yet bring that I have a 2 month old but a lot of the gear I’ve gotten from them has been very useful and kind to my pockets. Definitely recommend becoming a VIP for those special sales/days.”

“I’m addicted… to shopping here. Ya’ll pray for me! If I come home with another stack of records I won’t listen to, another vintage type writer, or more plates i don’t need, my wife gonna chop me up with one of the three sets of knives I bought here.

i have an unhealthy relationship with this store. don’t start because you won’t be able to stop coming here.

imma see you in the sports equipment section. i need football pads for protection when drop kick me.”

“Everyone was super friendly and the shop was well lit and well stocked. They have a lot of supplies for every odd and end you could think of. I bought a couple rubber stamps and only spent 16¢ ! It's great to go to a place that actually can save me money”

“Great place if you are looking for supplies for house or construction-type projects. Had no idea what to expect but was pleasantly surprised with their quite large selection (and prices!!) of lights/lighting, used tools, nails/screws, yard tools, paint and paint supplies, and a lot more! I will definitely be back when I have more projects. Friendly staff, too!”

“Do you love to look thru random things, and wonder if you could Reuse things for other purposes? Do you love a deal? Man! This place is for you! Come here and try to park on the decline angled section near the loading dock, so you don't have to pay to park! Check out my photos, I was there just a few days ago. Books are $0.10/lb and I actually found White Barn candle, used, but for like $2.00 with a discount, I bought kids books & that candle for a total of about $2.57!! Awesome! They do sell other wacky stuff like a diving board! Medical devices, U of M furniture, dentist chairs, massage tables, Gigantic desks, and other weird stuff!”

“My 1st time at shop. Very nice and welcoming staff. Clean and organized shop. Amazing prices. Highly recommend this Thrift shop. Bought a very nice purse for a reasonable price.”

“I love this place. Every time I come here I find an entire cartful of treasures. Their prices are so much better than other thrift stores in the area. I feel like they are priced as a thrift store should be. Also very well organized and the staff is super nice.”

“It's a neat place, but you need to come pretty often to find the best deals. They sell a variety of items ranging from used items and new items. The used items seem to be either donated or from existing homes, in a range of conditions from rough to basically pristine. On the other hand, the new items seem to be overstock given to Restore (likely from Habitat?). They sell everything from lightbulbs to paint to gardening stuff and even wood scraps and power tools.”

“This thrift store is easy to access, well stocked for a smaller store, and has quality merchandise at a price that is surprisingly low in comparison to larger chain type 2cnd hand stores.
I recently moved to the neighborhood and needed to be very frugal when shopping for my new apartment. The 'New Day Thrift Store' was exactly what i needed. I have shopped there on several occasions and have always been very satisfied with the experience. The helpful and friendly staff do a terrific job of keeping things organized and neat so one may find what they seek quite easily.
5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because I got everything I needed for my apartment under budget, and the shopping experience was overall more relaxed than might have been at a larger store.
Kudos! New Day, you helped out, and I am sure you are doing a great service to the rest of our community.”

“Great selection! Some of the reviewers here clearly don’t know the effort that goes into not just being a shop, but also PRIMARILY a safe space for many women to gather. Me being a customer comes secondarily to me financially supporting this space.”

“Little hidden gem! This is everything a thriftstore should be. Great selection, great prices, great people! Only left with the bare necessities... A funnel cake maker!!”

“The owner is super nice and has helped me patch up several holes in my motorcycle pants, gloves, and even fixed my backpack strap from falling off. Never had a bad experience yet!!
Thank you for your help!!”

“Had a lovely experience here today. From the greeter at the door to the person working the jewelry counter, every staff member was kind and helpful. Though some of the prices seemed a bit high, I found a lot of great treasures and 25% came off clothes at the register, which made it more reasonable. I will definitely be back, thank you!”

“I've gotten very good deals on jeans in excellent condition there - it all depends which day you go. A few cool teeshirts. Very inexpensive lightbulbs. An excellent deal on a very nice laptop case.

On the other hand, the electronic hardware tends to be junk. There are a lot of battery-driven hand drills there without the batteries ..... probably because you can't buy replacement batteries for that model any longer (my experience).
Also the prices on kitchen items are too high for second-hand.
I've even seen packages of greeting cards which had writing in them!”

“I donate here regularly and will continue to do so. They make it very easy, and I love their mission! Shopping here I’ve always found great finds! My kids also enjoy the toy aisle and find great things to spend their allowance money on. Staff have been kind and courteous; on the quiet side which I don’t mind at all! Recommend!”

“I don't look at the clothing and can't speak to that but, besides media, other items don't seem priced to sell. Besides media, pricing is not as bad as Savers but not as good as Overflow Community Thrift (just north on Lexington at 96) or Mythrift at Rice and Larpenteur. For media prices, Overflow is better, mythrift and goodwill are comparable, and Savers is way worse.

I come to this goodwill a lot - at least once a week - because it's so close. I usually look for books and DVDs. There's good variety of books but the inventory is stale and browsing can be a nuisance, because you'll see the same books for months on end.

It would be nice to put the newer items on dedicated shelves. I've donated a lot of books to this store and, although they are in as good or better condition than what's on the shelf and generally of comparable (or better) desirability, I don't see them put out and I frequent the store enough that I should. I suspect that as long as the shelves are full they books donated are sent to some central location and sort for selling online.”

“Stopped at this Goodwill to check it out a couple days ago. Really great selection of items but prices could be better for items like Name brand jackets, especially ones with stains. The moment I walked into the store i noticed how friendly the girl at the cash register was. For someone who was working by herself up front with a long line of people, she handled it so well. I would come back to this location!”

“I called and spoke with a manager. I'm sick and needed my wife to answer her phone. The man I talked to was super helpful and got the msg to her. I forgot to say thanks before we got off the phone!!

Thank you for the assistance sir!!”

“I think you can find something for everyone here. The clothes are inexpensive, lots of different kitchen gadgets to look at, shoes Electronics almost anything you need”

“This is my first time here at the Roseville Goodwill location, there's plenty of parking, very friendly cashier, about a few parking spots with charging stations? Admittedly I did drive by the entrance and then had to figure out how to turn around because there's no u-turn signs in several places on the street. But that's not the fault of the Goodwill store. Nice clean store, the bathroom was very clean. Nice big stall with handicap railings. I took pictures of the bathroom to help others. So many puzzles at the store! Amazing puzzles. Thank you to everybody who donated. I could only take 50 pictures that Google allows me to take. I thought the prices were great. I got a Ravensburger puzzle 500 piece, for $2.99. That's amazing. I also got a Yankee Candle for $4.99, and a white barn hand soap, for only $2.99. Amazing! I'll definitely be back I used Talk to Text Speech to make this review.”

“Some of the items are a bit expensive but they do have a big selection of items and the store is clean and organized. I found this little guy there today paid $15 which i found to be on the higher price but still took it lol.”

“My wife loves thrift stores as it occupies her time in retirement. My wallet on the other hand is a little lite, tho. Lol. With that said.

From the few times I been here with my wife in tow. Found the store decent in their selections, but their prices are a bit high for a "thrift store". I am assuming here inflation is part of the reason for the higher prices on used goods. In my opinion is I can buy new at a lesser price then here.

Employees were okay and nice at times. Parking is pretty decent as well.”

“Went in to both sale and shop. While they didn’t buy much, they are super friendly and the store was clean and organized.

It was super busy both with sales and people shopping, but line moved quickly!”
