“We just happen to stumble on this place, before picking up our pizza (Jet’s). This was a great little place. Rachel was amazing! She was very personable. Went over some of the wines I was interested in. What an asset Rachel is to this place!
We almost did not stop in, as there were no signs for their hours. It really did not seem ‘open’, until you tried the door entrance. Again, thanks to Rachel for the welcome.

They don’t sell beer, but I think the gas station on the other side of the building does.

“I have been to this store several times and the owners are friendly and helpful. They always carry my purchases to the car for me. They also have a customer appreciation program. Very nice. Also, they do not upcharge for credit card. Tuesdays are wine Tuesdays for a discount. Easy access, easy parking.”
“Everyone who works here is great, has been a great spot for many years, and will say first hand that they are a laid back crowd and good conversation, including the owner. They have a good selection and prices aren’t the wildest I’ve seen for liquor. Whether it wine or liquor I like to start my adventures here lol”

“Little mom and pop liquor store. Mid to low priced items. Good for a quick pint. Not really geared for any high end bottles. Small selection of wines, mostly mid range items. Like most liquor stores they can order anything, but they modified their selection based on the demographics of the neighborhood. If you from the hood your good, if you from the burbs go back to the burbs, you won't like the wine selection here.”

“One of my coworkers told me that this place on Friday nights does j*** chicken island style and it's very authentic. One Friday I was in the area and decided to give it a try. I've had j*** chicken from several places and I must say this does bring back the great memories of my childhood. I keep going back every Friday and made it a tradition that no matter what, at 7pm I'm heading to that spot... I've brought along some friends that are chefs and they've told me that this is some very good chicken. Well enough said, if you're looking for something to do on a Friday, don't hesitate to stop by A&J minimart and have some j*** chicken and you can by beer inside and enjoy it by the grill... very laid back and great people... Also don't go too late because they will run out of chicken lol -big drip”

There’s a lot of space you don’t feel claustrophobic a lot of wine stores are just too tiny and the shelving too close together. Not here!
