“On Wednesday morning dollar general had acone day sale on the mini fridge. I went to the terry rd dollar general and asked the manager if they had any left. She just said if we do they should be over there and pointed. They didn’t have any and they had just opened. I went to the one in Byram on swinging bridge and the manager asked her very sweet employee to help me see if they had any left the employee walked around looking for one and even looked to see in the back. They didn’t have any. When I started to leave the manager was already calling other stores in the area to see if they had them. She found one at the dollar general on cooper rd and ask them to put it behind the counter, because she had a customer on the way. That manager went above and beyond. They were also great at the cooper rd store. They already had it ready for me. I would recommend the swinging bridge store and the Danial lake store bi would not recommend the terry rd store. I’d rather drive a little further to get great customer service.”

“I'm hearing this Dollar General is under new management and you can definitely tell. I've never been in a Dollar General that is as well kept and well stocked as this one and I've traveled a lot across the country and frequent dollar generals often. This is one of the best. I wish all the DG's in our area could be this way.”
“It's by far the best Dollar General store in the south Jackson area! Courteous helpful and friendly cashier's! Stockers are willing to help if I can't find what I'm looking for! It's def one of the only Dollar General stores in the area that has what I want or need! Stocking so you can get to what you need without going around the world & thru the other shoppers to find an opening to get to the items you want! Unlike so many other Dollar Generals in Jackson! If I need Dollar General it's def my favorite, it's where I go, without dreading the obstacle course of boxes, and carts they are stacked up on so haphazardly! No grouchy cashier or stock clerk who's only reply to a question is, umm let me check with so and so! They would know where the things I need are if they were working, not chatting or milling around trying to look busy! The clerk's and cashier's are friendly courteous and helpful, most times busy with the customer's doing their job!”

“For a dollar store i have no complaints especially a week before christmas. Ive seen and had to deal with much much more at "better" stores without the seasonal bullcrap”

“Newly remodeled store that is well tended. On two different visits the staff has suggested foods I might enjoy when they saw what I had purchased. This store is well stocked and not super busy.”
“I'm not usually one to rate Dollar Stores but the Manager (I think) here needs a shout out. She is so friendly and SWEET to everyone who comes in. She deserves recognition for her customer service skills!”

“This DG has a layout pretty much as all others with boxes in the aisle and product being out on shelves. They had everything I needed and the customer service was excellent. The young man was very attentive and friendly.”
“The one on cooper and Rainey rd is cool and you don't wait in line forever they are pretty good at getting you out fast. And the one.on suncrest is old school and I love that store very much. Always so nice and irs clean and always stocked up. I think I have only sen that particular store with clothes on racks well and the one on terry”
“Gotta give it a different name. Nothing is a dollar anymore, matter of fact it's done gone up to $1.50.. That extra added change really makes a humongous difference especially for people that are having a hard time already in this economy..”

“Very refreshing to be in a Dollar General where people didn't follow me around the minute I walked in the door. This place is very friendly, the staff was very knowledgeable and made me feel like I did not upset their day by coming in to buy something unlike the Dollar general's in Jackson Mississippi. “Come to find out I like Dollar tree better than Walmart they have a lot of good things there that you wouldn't believe for $5 that normally would be like 30 like I got a 15 00 loom light for $5 that looks like a fan I was shocked if they had that for $5 not only that they got canned food for cheap everything there is pretty doggone cheap a lot cheaper than Walmart it's almost my new place to shop if they just had more food selections but now they are getting better”

“I love going to Dollar General. They are very nice and helpful always greeting me when I walk in. This place has lots of merchandise to choose from. I cannot go in there without staying awhile and looking at all the great things they have to choose from. It's not expensive either. I went in one day on my way home from work and there was this elderly man in there that was thirsty and didn't have enough money for his drink and I saw the cashier pay for the rest of what he didn't have. That is the kind of people that help make a difference in the world. I recommend this store to everyone. I hope you can get the chance to visit this store.”
“I guess since a lot of people shop here, this Dollar General is always either low in stock or empty with certain items. Good for the business, but bad for me Lol since it’s the closest store to my house (4 min away) & the other stores are at least 15 min away. Other than that, it’s pretty good. They have a cop stationed every night. It’s relatively clean, could be cleaner, but I normally see one person working (& she’s usually stuck at the register) so it’s not her fault :)”

“I always have a wonderful experience at this dollar tree. For some odd reason this dollar tree is well maintained and does not resemble downtown Beruit, as I have seen in other dollar tree shops. Great customer service too. Now the needs work part? A few more cashiers would make a heck of a difference.”
