“My truck is my lively hood. I cover five states along the Gulf Coast so I stay on the road a lot. My truck went down on me in Little Rock, AR. last Thursday. Fortunately, I was able to limp it home while my wife searched for the parts I needed in order to get back on the road. Trying to get a full set of O2 sensors for my 2016 F150 3.5l Eco Boost became more of an issue than was anticipated. Literally no one had a complete set of them in stock anywhere from Little Rock, AR to Hamilton, AL. They would have one or two of them and have to order the remaining units. With shipping of any kind being more hit and miss than even remotely predictable as of late, ordering anything can become frustrating at best. The Alabama Street location in Columbus, MS. had both upstream sensors and one of the down stream sensors so my wife purchased the items they had in stock and ordered the remaining sensor for pick up on Friday after lunch. Needless to say the item ordered did not come in on Friday or Saturday. It finally came in on Sunday's truck. I was quite honestly not upset by the part being late. The stores employee's have zero control over the delivery aspect of the business. What I can say is that all of them were very kind to me, accommodated my browsing about the store while I picked out a few additional items I needed, all the while remaining apologetic for the situation. The monetary transaction process became a cluster when it came time for me to pay and leave. This was honestly due to stupidity on my part. Again, the associates were great. I believe the name of the young man who had the misfortune of dealing with me was Dennis, I sincerely hope I got that right anyway. The bottom line is that I was treated very graciously by all and to top it off, their prices were notedly better than anywhere else including online. “Awesome place, awesome service!! Everybody was very nice and explained things in a way I could understand. Me and my wife went on September 4th 2024 for a transmission fluid exchange and the technicians diagnosed a very loud whining noise from the engine which I thought was normal, but it is not.
