“I was in the market for a new vehicle and had done my research online prior to visiting the dealership. Living in a small town, there was not much selection as far as the dealership goes, but we decided to pay Carl Hogan (Columbus, MS) a visit because I've heard good reviews about them.We arrived at the dealership right when it opened and walked around the GMC area before making our way to the Jeep section. We were approached by Randy Silas, who was extremely kind and helpful. He asked a few questions and was trying to understand what I was looking for. He then offered different makes and model types that might fit my "wish list." Randy was very knowledgeable about all the vehicles we had looked at on the lot. He wasn't your typical salesperson either, he wasn't just trying to make a sale. He was upfront and honest, which I was truly thankful for.I ended up purchasing a new 2024 GMC Terrain, that I had been eyeing on their website since it was "in transit." “y'all were short staffed and a routine truck pickup took us way longer than it should have (3 hours total, NB: They guy apologized when he finally got round to us but it was still valuable time I didn't have to spare!). Secondly, your trailer is broken yet your online system allows people to rent it out and they only find out it's unavailable when they get there. please fix this. We ended up having to rent a trailer from uhaul to go with the truck we reserved. The truck and trailer were incompatible and we had to drive it across the country. I almost got a ticket for it in Wyoming. I am upgrading my rating to four stars because you reached out to me and I'll be very grateful if you would please hire more people and have your online website truly reflect the reality at your location.
