I was able to send them images of the parts that my dad needed and they were able to order them. “This auto repair shop showed me there are still some good people in business that don’t try to take advantage of someone that doesn’t know a spark plug from a dipstick. After being told I needed an alternator replaced on my car by one of the auto parts stores and their diagnostic dohicky I made arrangements with Gilmores to have it done and when I got my car there and talked with Mr Gilmore he told me he didn’t think I needed a new alternator. He took his machine and hooked it to my car and showed me how my alternator was working fine but my battery wasn’t charging like it should be. He put new battery on and it saved me about $600! Yeah he could have sold me a new alternator and swapped out a used battery and I never would have known the difference even if I had to buy a new battery later. But he did the right thing and I’m so glad. I will not take my car anywhere else!”
