Really good for and Econo Lodge and would stay there again.

Long Version:
This review is written while comparing this Econo Lodge against other properties at the same price point (which is important).
When passing through while heading to Memphis I was looking for a place to stay and ended up staying here. Traditionally I would stay and one of the nicer hotels that are in this area. However due to the location the prices for occupation in the city are crazy. Plan better and stay in another city to save money.
That being said, lets talk about the property now. This property is in the same Complex as the Holiday Inn. During my stay both properties, as well as the Quality Inn across the street, were undergoing renovations. This leads me to believe that the Quality Inn also has the same owners. The reason for staying at the Econo Lodge and not the Quality inn was that the prices were similar as were the reviews. The only star that was taken out of the 5 available was taken due to the location of the building. As the building is behind that Holiday Inn, I had to leave the hotel and drive around the lobby building to enter the Econo housing building. Likewise, in the morning I had to get back in my car and drive around to get breakfast. This was due to the rear lobby door remaining locked at all times which is very inconvenient. As for the building and room, it goes without saying that the Econo building is older and does not have the updates of the Lobby building. The room was well appointed and clean. My only gripe regarding the room is that the sower head is on a neck which placed the head lower than preferred but in line with a hotel of its age. On a lucky and redeeming point, the Econo Lobby was shut down during my stay which resulted in my using the Holiday lobby during my stay. This also resulted in me having a Holiday inn breakfast which more than made up for the higher price.
As stated previously. This is a nice and clean hotel for the price point and I would/will stay here again if I plan poorly and find myself in the area while in need of a hotel.”
