“I am a first-time dog owner, so this was my first experience with a vet after rescuing my dog. Firstly, the receptionists were really kind (on the phone and in person). One of them even went out of the way to help me bring my nervous/excited 6 month old husky mix inside the store and walk all the way to the back where Banfield is located. That, to me, was an amazing first impression. She didn't have to help me, but was more than willing to. 5 stars to her.
I give the vet visit itself a 4 because the appointment was at 1:00, but I had to leave my pup there until I was called a little after 3:30 saying he was ready to be picked up. The doctor was just as kind as the receptionists were, but I didn't really understand why my dog was there for so long when I simply brought him in to have the area around his eye looked at after getting stung by an insect.
Overall, I feel as though I found a good place for my dog's well-being to be monitored throughout the following years. I just hope that I won't have to drop him off, then leave, and wait a couple of hours before he gets looked at each time we go.”
