Had a fairly good experience with this company. Rented a standard vehicle from them, before I left the area I noticed a large knot in a tire. So I took it back and was given a nicer vehicle at the same rate. Also they do not allow you to smoke in their vehicles, $450 fee if they smell smoke upon return, they do tell you this before signing their contract. So do not smoke and think they won't smell it!! My reason for choosing this company is because their rates are a little cheaper than the more popular rental company, what I payed at Avis for a week, only would have gotten me a weekend at the more popular company. So for the most part I was satisfied.

Maria @ Avis Hattiesburg was just great. She confirmed in advance the vehicle we needed and ensured it was available on the day we needed it. Later, she resolved an issue with the reservation. She’s great.

The absolute worst car rental place in hattiesburg. They never have anything in stock, all their cars are in terrible shape and they overcharge. They canceled my rental on me the day of my flight also.

Made a reservation online,only to get there and there was a problem renting my daughter a car after they knew she was 21 and they had taken her money online and then tried to not give her a refund. She is still waiting on it. The lady was lovely who worked there. Had nothing to do with her.

Worst rental experience of my life! The woman who works there is racist and rude. Refused to rent me a car with absolutely NO EXPLANATION. Do not rent from Avis. Customer support is nonexistent. They will steal from you and charge your card with no rhyme or reason. This is basically a criminal rental organization. I would advise to rent from literally ANYWHERE ELSE.

So I rented a vehicle from this place that was the worst. First the vehicle was not what I rented also the vehicle was filthy. The customer service is non existent. We have rented a few times and every time was a horrible experience.Update: they are giving me $22. I don’t want money or any kind of credit. I want them to fix their problems and not have crapy service. Way to go you have failed again.

Had a great experience here; booked a rental online and the car was very clean, workers were nice, and the price was reasonable. There is no parking available so make sure to have someone drive you or take an uber/lyft to get your rental car.

I prepayed online a week before picking up my rents using my debit card I looked up the requirements and not one of the requirements said anything about a credit check. They illegally ran my credit without prior knowledge or approval and when I got to the rental place they ran my credit told me I couldn’t get a rental because of my low credit score this caused me a lot of hardship and also told me I wouldn’t be able to get my money back for 3-5 days it didn’t take them 3-5 days to get my money I’m looking into a lawsuit because this is ridiculous

Was glad to be able to get a car. However 3 tires had low air pressure, fuel tank had all the way on empty (glad the gas station is only a few hundred feet away, and the car smelled like pot.

We rented a car from them in Columbus to Mississippi and we returned it the next day. Though they were not at work when we arrived but they provided a place to leave the keys. It was awesome.

Rented a car about 3 weeks ago the car was fine but the business is sketchy got a charge this morning for an additional 250 dollars called the bank someone at the business manually entered my card number thank goodness it got declined my bank says only because they entered the wrong CVC number returned the car with a full tank of gas and ur trying to charge me a fuel charge I’m sending receipts and pictures to corporate now better charge whoever took it for a joyride after we left and handed the keys to ur cleaning guy also the fact that the person who checked us in was the person that details the cars and didn’t even know how to use a computer had the boss on FaceTime the entire time should have been a red flag be careful renting a car from them never again having to dispute fraud for a simple rental car is ridiculous

This place is TERRIBLE! I rented a vehicle and they called the day I was to pick it up and they said they had no vehicles. I rebooked for the next day because I had to get to the airport the next morning. At great inconvenience to others I went to pick it up this morning. When I got there there was no car. They didn't call me. They said they wouldn't have a car for two days, even though a vehicle was just turned in early while I was standing there. No organization or compassion. They are giving Avis a very bad name.
