“Hotel Indigo is definitely the best hotel in Hattiesburg! I have stayed there many times when I have had conferences in Hattiesburg. Their customer service is awesome! Last night we were passing through when there was a tornado warning in Hattiesburg & took shelter there. Holly, Jelly & Josh were so kind!! They welcomed us & let us stay with them until the hazardous weather cleared. We can’t thank ya’ll enough for your genuine concern & your desire to keep us safe!”

“Very friendly and helpful staff at this property, which, like its next-door sister Courtyard Marriott, is due for some upgrades. The rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities and appointments you expect from Residence Inn — except USB ports. I forgot the plug for my USB charger cable this trip (my problem), so there was no way to charge my phone in the room. A minor issue. The AC was excellent, which is VITAL in South Mississippi, even in winter. Breakfast seemed a little above par for Residence, with excellent grits and scrambled eggs. Will definitely return when I'm in the area. One weird final note: The front entrance is conspicuously difficult to find, tucked around the rear of the hotel near the dead end of the parking lot, which, as best I recall, had no directional signage to find the front door.”
“The Receptionist Nicholas is great. He was there on our previous stay. My husband and I were in high hopes he would still be there and he was. Very nice person. He made us feel like family.”

“Clean room and great service. The electronics in our room were quite dated. TV was a 32 inch from 2011. There was only one USB port in the room and it was on the clock radio. Otherwise the room was nice. Location is tucked away off the main road a bit but navigation will get you there. Parking lot is crowded at night. Not recommend if you have a trailer.”

“I stayed there for a long time and stopped staying there when they hired the previous manager but since they have hired the current one I have begun staying there a lot here lately The current manager is very nice and helpful I'm all aspects. I will continue to stay as long as this manager is there but when they leave I leave and take a lot of business with me”

“Laughing a lot of time at this hotel I love it even though they try to get me a hard time all the time but my boyfriend there and I took a lot of pictures of there Christ is great my room never had bed bugs I'm just going to be honest it was clean and I always got the same room”
“Great price, great location. Wasn't the one who booked but stayed with my cousin who did. Happy to sa she picked a great hotel! The lady who checked us in and was there thru the night was the sweetest, lady with the cutest southern accent lol. I think her name was Mel or Melanie? Or something else with a M like that. We'd book again just to talk to her! ? ( If we ever come back to the south anyway! Thanks for the comfy night sleep!”

“The staff was exceptional! All so kind. This hotel seems kinda old. Needs updating. The phone in our room and in our friends room did not work, so we couldn't call the front desk easily. Beds were comfy. Rooms were spacious. Breakfast had a good variety. Pool was iffy. We did not get in. Lol the fitness room was good! Overall, we would stay here again. It was clean. Just needs some updates!”

“This hotel has had some updates. It is under new ownership so they are working on a liquor license. The bar has select beers at this point. I like that pets are now allowed. I was able to bring my senior dog with mobility issues and there is limited carpet to collect fur. There is a pool and hot tub also. They have also upgraded the outside patio areas. Very nice.”

“I arrived late evening and left before dawn, so I don’t have a ton of details to share. Noteworthy details: no coffee in the room - huge bummer. The usb port I plugged my phone into overnight did not work so I awoke to a phone with 10% battery (other outlets in the room did work). It looks like they retrofitted or changed the room at some point because there was damage to the walls that wasn’t fixed. If there was WiFi, I wasn’t given access information.
On the positive side - the window shade darkened the room well. Multiple door locks. Very clean. Generous pillows. Full breakfast was ready early - I left at 5:45 AM and it was already set up. The pantry with available snacks and such was well stocked. Staff was friendly and attentive. As a solo female traveler, I felt safe here.
They do authorize a $25 deposit in addition to the room rate but I found that to be much more reasonable than the $100 some hotels charge and then wait days to refund. I appreciated that.”
