I wish I could rate this store with no stars no stars or something similar. This is absolutely the WORST Lowe's store I have ever been in. My sister and I needed to purchase a new refrigerator. We called the store that morning to inquire about methods of payment that were acceptable and we were told that checks were fine. We showed up at the store and as we were completing the transaction, the sales person mentioned that checks were fine but it might be "rejected." She told us we could try. Because we had driven close to an hour to go to the store, we decided to give it a try. The check was rejected (I KNOW there was enough money in our account to cover the check as I had made the needed deposit the day before). We had to drive all the way home (again, close to an hour) to get the necessary money to pay for the appliance. We drove all the way back, and did purchase the refrigerator. We made arrangements for the item to be delivered and installed and were told it would be Tuesday, March 5th (our store receipt even says March 5th on it). Now we are being told that we had been put on the list for delivery/installation on March 12th instead. DO NOT go to this store if you don't need to-too many problems to mention. Take your money elsewhere.

Horrible customer service! I bought a dishwasher on 1-10-24 with an installation service. The particular dishwasher purchased was in stock. I was informed by sales associate that installation will be contacting me in 2 -3 days. After a week, no call from installation. I called installation services. I was given an excuse that the person who pulls the tag did not realize the item was in stock. Insulation services assured me that someone will contact me in 2 days. Again , no one called to set an appointment for installation. I then called customer services twice at their headquarters in North Carolina for follow up. Headquarters assured me that they will be contacting the manager of Lowes in Hattiesburg.Ms in order to determine the problem in scheduling an appointment for the installation of my dishwasher.Still, no one called me. After 17 days , 1-27-2024, not hearing from installation services in Hattiesburg , I cancelled my order. Iam grateful for options available at different home improvement stores.

I am a long time Lowe’s cheerleader. As a military retiree/disabled veteran I truly appreciate the care that is given to those that have served. Today (tonight) I am truly disappointed in the level of service at the Hattiesburg Lowe’s store. I purchased a refrigerator for a renovation project on my RV, and a delivery was scheduled. I received the standard message via text indicating a delivery window. That window came and went. So at 8PM (the end of the window) I called the store and was told by customer service that it was delayed and the new time was by 9PM but could be later. I can make all sorts of conjecture about the intentions of the customer service rep but I will say that I felt a bit blown off. It is now 9:53PM. I truly didn’t expect it past 9:00PM.The rub: NO phone call, no apology from the customer service. Do better!!!!

Bought 85 large stones from garden department today. Garden area register and gates all locked up. Still had two employees loitering around but neither offered to help in any way. One declined to help checkout and withheld any other offer of help. My daughter and I managed to push the flat carts to self check out. It was good exercise but if you want to see the decline in American customer service I recommend visiting Lowes of Hattiesburg.

I came in there yesterday with a list of items to fix a water leak that my husband had given me. I had no idea what these items were, or where to begin to even find them. But thanks to your associate Wesley. I got all the items on the list and they were all the correct items. I just want to say that he did a great job helping me and that I sure did appreciate his help. I definitely could not have gotten these items without Wesley‘s help. Thank you so much Wesley.

third time I have had to go to lowes this week.. third time I have had to leave with nothing... first waited in lumber depth for 25 minutes while employee was paged to come cut wood to be advised that saw has been broken for weeks.. second waited for 30 minutes in flooring department to then be advised that employee did not come in and no one could locate the inventory they said they had had to go to another town.. last trying to check out ( self check out which is ridiculous) and advised that all cash machines down today and would have to wait in return line behind 7 people to pay... looks like home depot now has a loyal customer.. won't be back and would give negative rating if I could

Reasonable on prices but went this morning and picked up some flowers out they garbage bin and wanted 9dollars for it I told her to trow it back in the bin. Could have sold it for a couple of dollars to make a profit instead of just throwing it away.
