Their selection isn't as big as the big box stores in most departments, but they are definitely worth checking out, and in some cases, have items I can't find in the bigger stores.Staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Their animals are well taken care of. Two thumbs up from me.

6143 US-98 #50, HattiesburgClean and well stocked. Didn't buy anything...they wouldn't price match from Chewy. Went to Petco and got pet food that they matched from their website...it was the same as Chewy's price. I hate going in PetSmart because of the caged cats. I've heard from someone that used to volunteer there, say that they never let the cats out to exercise them. I feel sorry for them. I hope they're doing a better job at it now.

My pups have never looked better. And I took them for a 9:00 appt and they were ready to come home at 11:20. I have a Cocker Spaniel and Maltipoo so that is remarkable. So happy to have found this place for my fur babies ❤️

I’ve been using them since 2014, with a brief break during the years I moved away from Hattiesburg. They cared so dearly for my soul dog, Auggie, who has since crossed the rainbow bridge, and for the past four years they’ve watched over and groomed Gunner our crazy Australian Shepherd. ?? The service has always been amazing, but what really brings me here is the extra mile they go. If Mr. Dale sees you sitting in the parking lot before 7 a.m., he will without a doubt say, “Come ahead, bring them in!” And to me, that is truly going above and beyond. If you’re looking for a boarder, groomer, or even just a daycare this is it, folks! ??

1907 Broadway Dr, HattiesburgI love this place. The people are fantastic and truly care about the animals they are seeing. The techs and Dr. Starling know my dog and remember his issues, his normals, and everything about him really. Dr. Starling is extremely knowledgeable, kind, caring, and informative. She comes up with a plan and takes time to explain and lets you ask questions. I never feel rushed here, and I’ve never had to wait long. When I need an appointment or a med pickup it doesn’t take multiple days. They usually answer on the first couple of rings and are always helpful and want to make sure the animal and the owner are cared for. I am emotional and cried at my most recent visit due to some complications with my dog and they made sure I had privacy and that I was okay. They care for the animal and the owner. Also I feel like their prices are very fair.
I know my dog is in good hands when I go to Vet Associates and I can’t recommend this place enough.

Pine Belt Veterinary Hospital & Kennel
7436 US 49, HattiesburgWONDERFUL SERVICE all the way around. This was my first time using them and I was at their mercy desperate for a correct diagnosis when I called about my shih tzu Mofo. She was in pain and not eating or drinking, barely moving. Dr Ember was an angel. She was very thorough and ran multiple test and diagnosed the problem and even found an unrelated underlying heart condition that was undetected for over 6 years. She explained each charge beforehand and the cost was very reasonable, not that I cared what it cost to fix my baby. With the correct meds, 48 hours later she’s eating, drinking and barking as usual. They even called today to see how she’s doing. The front desk staff is great as well, they all just loved on my baby and guided me every step. Truly top notch service and both my fur babies will be lifelong patients.

My last vet was at AMC, which is always packed and is right on Hardy (super busy and loud), and my GSD hated it. We had to give her gabapentin and trazadone just for routine visits! She has not needed that at all at Parkway. Her experience is far better here - and she (and we) LOVE Dr. Carli!! ❤️❤️❤️

Asked why and they informed me that she has congestive heart failure and they bathed her due to her having a bad bowel mvmt due to ker organs shutting down. ? I brought my lil girl to Mrs Brenda, and she informed me that she had a severe heart murmer and with the right medications she would have several more years. That's been over a year ago and my lil guard dog is still sleeping on our heads at night. Dr Brenda and her group are amazing, I wish I would have made the move many years ago!

Regrettably, we have been continually disappointed. Most of our extended family has been of the feline (purr)suasion. After many years of association with Town and Country Vets I believe I can safely say, I have never been as pleased with the care that is provided to my felines. They are extremely attuned to the cat psyche and are very willing to take extra steps to connect with these patients. I have not found this to be true ANYWHERE else. Felines are not canines. They need vets to understand their specific needs. Though TOWN AND COUNTRY ANIMAL HOSPITAL care for many types of animals, they definitely have a knack for the cats!!!

Usually, one encounters these places of business when one is in "crisis mode," is stressed, or is generally having a bad day. That being said, it's been a couple of months since I had dealings with them, and wanted to leave them a review. The doctors and the staff here are extremely compassionate, caring, accommodating, and professional. My cat, Magnus, was in a health decline and they provided excellent care and advice. The doctor and staff that perform surgery on him did a really good job and the after care was superlatives. They were very patient with me and took great care of Magnus on his end of life journey.They take proper Covid precautions and have been offering curbside service throughout. However, when it came time for Magnus's final trip, they did allow me in, with proper Covid precautions, to be with him one final time.I have been doing reviews for a long time. I seldom give a five star review. I have a process and procedure that I stick to 99% of the time. So, my process is not arbitrary. Most businesses, the best they can hope for, is a four star review. These fine people have earned their five stars!

Southern Prohibition Brewing
301 Mobile St, HattiesburgSouthern Prohibition is the highest rated brewery in MS that I saw on Untapp'd, so we stopped in on Sunday afternoon. They have a really nice space inside and a great patio outside. (They are dog friendly outside). My husband enjoyed the beers he tried, and I enjoyed my mocktail. All of the food we saw people order looked good. We tried the poutine - the fries were perfect. They were very busy around lunchtime. All of the staff were nice and attentive. I would definitely return if we were local!

The way she explained, I didn't understand. We were seated (inside) promptly & the waitress was prompt, nice, genuine & checked back often. It was Sunday & I ordered off the Sunday Brunch menu. It was steak on tater tots with 2 fried eggs on top. WOW! It was REALLY good. I was really impressed! So, yes, go there & eat. Just get them to really explain outside seating, if that's an option!
