Their selection isn't as big as the big box stores in most departments, but they are definitely worth checking out, and in some cases, have items I can't find in the bigger stores.Staff has always been very friendly and helpful. Their animals are well taken care of. Two thumbs up from me.

PetSmart
6143 US-98 #50, HattiesburgClean and well stocked. Didn't buy anything...they wouldn't price match from Chewy. Went to Petco and got pet food that they matched from their website...it was the same as Chewy's price. I hate going in PetSmart because of the caged cats. I've heard from someone that used to volunteer there, say that they never let the cats out to exercise them. I feel sorry for them. I hope they're doing a better job at it now.

2010 Evelyn Gandy Pkwy, HattiesburgDr Christine Gibson, although retired, is the very best Vet I've ever known. She literally saved my fur babie 'Willie' when there was little hope for his recovery. It's very assuring that the Drs at the Pet Hospital on Gandy have two nieces of Dr Gibson. I'm sure that they were mentored by Dr Gibson who is THE BEST. One of my Italian Greyhounds will be having surgery next week and I am 100% confident that the surgery will have a good outcome.

6804 US-98, HattiesburgWas a customer at a nearby veterinarian for many years. Had my pup boarded over a 4 day weekend, and my pup had just been bathed when I picked her up. Asked why and they informed me that she has congestive heart failure and they bathed her due to her having a bad bowel mvmt due to ker organs shutting down. ? I brought my lil girl to Mrs Brenda, and she informed me that she had a severe heart murmer and with the right medications she would have several more years. That's been over a year ago and my lil guard dog is still sleeping on our heads at night. Dr Brenda and her group are amazing, I wish I would have made the move many years ago!

12 Gravel Pit Rd, HattiesburgOur family has been blessed with many types of family members. We have over the years, required the services of several veterinarians within the Hattiesburg area. Regrettably, we have been continually disappointed. Most of our extended family has been of the feline (purr)suasion. After many years of association with Town and Country Vets I believe I can safely say, I have never been as pleased with the care that is provided to my felines. They are extremely attuned to the cat psyche and are very willing to take extra steps to connect with these patients. I have not found this to be true ANYWHERE else. Felines are not canines. They need vets to understand their specific needs. Though TOWN AND COUNTRY ANIMAL HOSPITAL care for many types of animals, they definitely have a knack for the cats!!!

Usually, one encounters these places of business when one is in "crisis mode," is stressed, or is generally having a bad day. That being said, it's been a couple of months since I had dealings with them, and wanted to leave them a review. The doctors and the staff here are extremely compassionate, caring, accommodating, and professional. My cat, Magnus, was in a health decline and they provided excellent care and advice. The doctor and staff that perform surgery on him did a really good job and the after care was superlatives. They were very patient with me and took great care of Magnus on his end of life journey.They take proper Covid precautions and have been offering curbside service throughout. However, when it came time for Magnus's final trip, they did allow me in, with proper Covid precautions, to be with him one final time.I have been doing reviews for a long time. I seldom give a five star review. I have a process and procedure that I stick to 99% of the time. So, my process is not arbitrary. Most businesses, the best they can hope for, is a four star review. These fine people have earned their five stars!

2138 Oak Grove Rd, HattiesburgThey gave us excellent service. My dog had a serious medical emergency and the empathy, kindness, and thoroughness they had made a scary situation much more manageable. The care we received was reassuring. Every single person we interacted with was great, but I’d especially like to say our vet tech (who unfortunately I did not get her name, but she had blonde hair and seemed young) was one of the best I’ve ever had. Her and our vet, Dr. rossum (sp?) explained everything clearly and had a genuine interest in helping us much as they could. They have earned our trust and we will be coming here from now on.

The kennel is clean and the help is kind and loving. Miss Trish communicates reliably by text and phone. We give Okatoma the highest rating and since our dogs are our family we are very grateful for their excellent services!

The barista mentioned that the cheesy biscuit muffin was savory and tasted like the red lobster cheddar bay biscuits and she DID NOT LIE...It was almost exact except their muffin was way softer which I enjoyed. The Toffee Nut Chai was good but it seemed to be slightly watered down but still enjoyable.

Very inexpensive, way cheaper than Starbucks ill tell you that.

142 E Front St, HattiesburgFood was really good. Black and Blue Cheeseburger was quite good, and a nice size. The pulled pork was delicious! It was also a nice size and contained a large amount of pulled pork which was a nice surprise. The bun was fresh, lightly toasted and buttery. I enjoyed this sandwich very much. Only issue was that the fries and onion rings weren't hot. As for the service, we sat at the bar and Leslie (Bartender/ Server/Phone Order Taker) was great!! No idea how she did it all, but she didn't miss a beat! She was friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. The restaurant is a nice size but seems pretty busy or at least steady on the weekends. There wasn't a line when we arrived but to be seated immediately, we grabbed seats at the bar. Everyone seemed friendly and the atmosphere was nice. Parking wasn't bad (we parked in Front on the street). I'd recommend this location.

Southern Prohibition Brewing
301 Mobile St, HattiesburgSouthern Prohibition is the highest rated brewery in MS that I saw on Untapp'd, so we stopped in on Sunday afternoon. They have a really nice space inside and a great patio outside. (They are dog friendly outside). My husband enjoyed the beers he tried, and I enjoyed my mocktail. All of the food we saw people order looked good. We tried the poutine - the fries were perfect. They were very busy around lunchtime. All of the staff were nice and attentive. I would definitely return if we were local!

The staff are friendly and willing to answer any questions we have about the menu. I love decor and atmosphere inside the building. I also love that they have an area for people to hang out and play outside. I have previously eaten the Bacon Cheeseburger, the Chili Cheeseburger, and the 'Shroom Burger. We've shared fries, tots, and onion rings in various forms and they were all tasty. And their milk shakes - they're divine and HUGE. We have figured out that it's best for us to share an app and a burger if we want a shake. Otherwise, we'd be too full.
