Affinity Retreat

She did a horrendous groom on our dog and Affinity cleaned him up and made his coat look even again. You can tell they really care about their pets and their work.

The techs and Dr. Starling know my dog and remember his issues, his normals, and everything about him really. Dr. Starling is extremely knowledgeable, kind, caring, and informative. She comes up with a plan and takes time to explain and lets you ask questions. I never feel rushed here, and I’ve never had to wait long. When I need an appointment or a med pickup it doesn’t take multiple days. They usually answer on the first couple of rings and are always helpful and want to make sure the animal and the owner are cared for. I am emotional and cried at my most recent visit due to some complications with my dog and they made sure I had privacy and that I was okay. They care for the animal and the owner. Also I feel like their prices are very fair.
I know my dog is in good hands when I go to Vet Associates and I can’t recommend this place enough.

Pine Belt Veterinary Hospital & Kennel

I called Pine Belt Veterinary 45 minutes before closing time and they welcomed us in, cleaned the wounds on her ear and neck, stapled her wounds and checked for any internal injuries. The staff was so friendly, helpful, efficient and the price-tag wasn’t outrageous. All of their efforts were so very appreciated, especially considering we were just visiting Hattiesburg for one evening.

Asked why and they informed me that she has congestive heart failure and they bathed her due to her having a bad bowel mvmt due to ker organs shutting down. ? I brought my lil girl to Mrs Brenda, and she informed me that she had a severe heart murmer and with the right medications she would have several more years. That's been over a year ago and my lil guard dog is still sleeping on our heads at night. Dr Brenda and her group are amazing, I wish I would have made the move many years ago!

Regrettably, we have been continually disappointed. Most of our extended family has been of the feline (purr)suasion. After many years of association with Town and Country Vets I believe I can safely say, I have never been as pleased with the care that is provided to my felines. They are extremely attuned to the cat psyche and are very willing to take extra steps to connect with these patients. I have not found this to be true ANYWHERE else. Felines are not canines. They need vets to understand their specific needs. Though TOWN AND COUNTRY ANIMAL HOSPITAL care for many types of animals, they definitely have a knack for the cats!!!

They have a really nice space inside and a great patio outside. (They are dog friendly outside). My husband enjoyed the beers he tried, and I enjoyed my mocktail. All of the food we saw people order looked good. We tried the poutine - the fries were perfect. They were very busy around lunchtime. All of the staff were nice and attentive. I would definitely return if we were local!

There seems to have been a change in BBQ masters a few years ago, or a change in approach- this elevating the quality of the BBQ to some of the best I have had any where. Having grown up in Mississippi and Louisiana, I was used to "fast" backyard BBQ. I love the thick sauce and how it would "fry-up" on chicken. Then I moved to Texas, and that changed my BBQ experiences greatly. That said, still love some backyard chicken-on-the -grill BBQ, but nothing beats slow-smoked BBQ. This place does it right. And if you love that sticky BBQ sauce experience, they have three styles of sauces including sweet and sticky, spicy, and vinegar-based (my favorite). Staff is always super friendly. Great service.
