Post Offices220 South 40th Avenue, Hattiesburg MS 39402 About United States Postal Service
The United States Postal Service provides secure, reliable, and affordable mail and package delivery to every address in the country. The staff are often knowledgeable and friendly, and the delivery service receives high praise. However, the local Post Office can have very long lines, making the self-service kiosk a welcome alternative. A recent change to the drive-through letter boxes has been criticized as an unsafe inconvenience, requiring customers to exit their vehicles at night. Despite some operational challenges, the postal workers are noted for being absolutely sweet and providing helpful, kind service.
