Noteworthy details: I was transferred there and fired there by PMC for no call no show. Why, because I was transferred without a reason and without my knowledge and I got fired and PMC didn't want to hear it, why? Because a retaliation from being fired once again no call no show from Estelle southern cooking at the Westin Jackson Hotel. Derante the supervisor transferred me without telling me and I was fired for not knowing and Derante the supervisor over PMC at the Westin Jackson Hotel is the one who transferred me and didn't change my paperwork in the computer didn't even tell the people his boss and others that my reason is legit and legal, but Searia has more pull than he does and I got fired because these two are a couple on the down low, and they don't want some one like me around them because their job would be at stake from the way I work. My compliant against the company is discrimination and Prejudice and harassment. 650limo service didn't even call back because I am a great worker but the Westin hiring and firing all are friends and several are couples.

It's a historic hotel. The rooms were pretty clean but not all the appliances were working properly. Mini fridge not working.Noteworthy details: The staff members are 1st class!! They make this 3 star accommodations feel like 5 Stars with their attention to addressing the guest needs.

This place has a great location and is an old place that they have managed to maintain. I really liked the decoration. The service is good. I just have to say that the room leaves a lot to be desired. I chose my room for the view but I think in the future I will allow them to choose the room for me. The bathroom is very old and the curtain was torn from use. The shower had water pressure that could not be regulated and the ceiling had rust. I didn't feel comfortable there.

The location is perfect if you're looking to explore downtown and the capital. The staff was friendly and although the hotel seemed old, it was fairly well kept up. The rooms, however, we're far from clean. I would still recommend it to something traveling through for a day.

Horrible hotel. Let’s start with valet parking. Like 30 people waiting for cars. I’m watching guys drive over curbs with peoples cars. I say no way. Ran into a very nice security guy, Gary, who showed me where to park where it would be “safe”. Get to room. Disgusting and outdated! Took a shower with my socks on so I wouldn’t get a fungus. Go to turn on my lamp. No lightbulbs! Go to restaurant to order food. Sat there for 25 minutes. No service!!!!! Ordered Door Dash. Food never delivered. Then, go downstairs for coffee at 5 am. Black, heavy set nite auditor had an attitude. Tells me coffee at 6 am upstairs on 2nd level. Ask for 2 bottles of water as I’m a diamond member. Tells me,, “Ain’t got none!” I took a bottle from the suite shop. I go to room to make a cup of coffee from Keurig maker. No K-cups! Surprise! Wait it gets better. I make a cup of tea. The creamer was outdated, snd it curled. I kid you not! Then, as I’m bringing my luggage to car, I see a gentleman with coffee. I ask him where he got it. He says in breakfast area on ground floor. I go back and ask the black lady at the front desk why she did that. She laughed in my face!!!! Poor, poor, poor customer service. I, needless to stay, checked out early and went to a wonderful Hilton Garden Inn in Flowood, MS.

I went just to get away for the weekend.. the hotel was nice but the ac would not go lower than 74 degrees. The room was clean. Valet was ok. They took too long to get your vehicle.

Be aware that they charge your credit card an additional $50 per night for "incidentals" which may take up to "5 business days" to be removed.

I have requested a call regarding my experiences at the Hilton Garden Inn. There were several. However, there is a main issue. The website advertises cocktails at The King Edward Bar. There is no liquor license and therefore no bar at this location. I would not have booked here if I had known this information beforehand. Mississippi Code states, "False and fraudulent advertisements are prohibited in Mississippi, pursuant to Section 75-24-5." I have yet to receive a phone call from the property regarding this matter.

Decent hotel. A good bar. Had Quesadillas there and they were quite good.

Booked this hotel by mistake but turned out to be a great location to end a getaway. Resturant loccation was walking distance from hotel. I was taken care of by the staff even though some upgrades are needed, and it was great for the price and experience.Rooms: Needed some upgrades but was presentable for the price.Safety: Police presence and area didn't give a vibe of unsafety.Walkability: There are resturant and night attraction walking distance from hotel.Food & drinks: Food was good and nearby walking distance restaurants.

A lot of history. But that about sums it up. The on-site restaurant and bar was closed due to losing their liquor license but nothing noted on their website. Entire property was very neat up. We had two rooms connected and one bathroom did not work. We had someone come up and still did not work. Thankfully the other on did. The area around the hotel is a dead zone. Nothing really to do or see besides one restaurant. Wish such a historic area was revitalized. Sad.

Well my experience was surprising to say the most… Stayed here a little over a month ago.. Had to be moved from my first room because the air/heat was not working, which is ok, it happens.. BUT!! When I checked out of my room I realized that I forgot my things in the mini fridge like an hour later; I went back hoping that they had not cleaned my room yet.. Front desk walked me up.. When we got to the room housekeeping had my half eaten food in the microwave warming up and my Remy(Cognac) bottle on the counter just about empty while everything else was in the trash outside of the room door.. My Remy was a full bottle being I only had one glass out of it and the only real reason I was really wanting my things.. Soo disappointed =(Front desk manager said that she was going to give me some points but I never received those or a phone call about my stay or my situation.. Very disappointing!! I hope it gets better
