“Great housing option for being stationed on NAS Meridian. Don’t let the bad reviews deter you (most of which are 2-5 years old). It’s likely the safest neighborhood option with it being on base but it is separated from the main part of the base so it feels like a normal neighborhood. Tons of storage space including outdoor closets and free storage units if you want one. The houses are a good size and you don’t have to worry about lawn care. Maintenance staff is good at keeping up with your maintenance requests and if there is an ongoing issue they involve upper management. Most of the houses are pretty dated but so are the majority of housing options in the city of Meridian in this price range. Overall, this is an excellent option if you have received orders here. You can have your house reserved before you even arrive here if you begin paperwork ahead of time. Note: If you are moving here, be sure to get Notth Lauderdale Wireless Internet. It is the only option that will be worth your while.”

“I lived there for 1yr 1/2 it was terrible there were security but you couldn't get them to come if needed. The management was terrible. When I moved I still didn't have a post box key to get my mail. I would have to chase the mail lady to get my mail. Some tenants went without heat and AC for 6 months. Locks on the doors was unsafe. Was so glad when I left there. A man got robbed and stabbed at the laundry room. I saw a lady lay in the doorway of the laundry room all night. No number to call security. She was drunk and passed out. So NO ITS NOT A QUITE OR SAFE PLACE TO LIVE. I AM 66 YRS OLD AND IT WAS UNSAFE.”
