Some of us can't physically lift our dogs into the car in a crate and don't have someone to help! They do a fantastic job, are very kind and caring to my dogs and go out out of their way to accommodate. VERY FAIR PRICES!!

5140 Dale Drive, MarionIf I could give this location 10 stars, I would. My husband and I began bringing our dog to Dr. Newell's office after having a bad experience with our local vet's office. I learned very quickly after the first visit that I should have done this sooner. Dr. Newell and the staff there are very professional and thorough with the care of our dog. I had to call the after hours emergency line one evening a couple of weeks ago. Our dog was stung by yellowjackets and I was concerned about what to look for. I got a call from Dr. Newell within five minutes. He answered every question I had and recommended at home treatment. Very happy to say that our dog is much better.
I will make the one hour drive to Dr. Newell's office rather than the one block drive to our local vet's office from here on out.

Meridian Animal Care Center
5010A Poplar Springs Dr, MeridianWe had to evacuate to Meridian, MS after being hit by Hurricane Ida in Southeast Louisiana. I had my elderly father with me as his home was severely damaged from the hurricane. It was a very stressful situation and with no power, it was scorching hot. I contacted Meridian Animal Care Center 1 day prior to evacuation and spoke with Bethany. As crowded as they were from other evacuees, she assured me that, "we'll make it work." When I got there the following day, they were so gracious, kind, and comforting. I boarded my cat and brought my dog to the hotel with me since he was very stressed from the hurricane and was being very clingy. I can't tell you how at ease they made me feel and by taking such great care of my cat. When you're stressed from a hurricane, you need as much kindness, normalcy, and reliability that you can get. They provided all of that and didn't even charge me for the boarding. Bethany and the rest of the staff are truly angels. We might eventually relocate to Meridian and if/when we do, we will be sure to take our beloved furbabies to Meridian Animal Care Center for veterinary care.

Diagnosed my dog and quickly confirmed. I was so pleased. I have insurance, but the cost, very reasonable and I'm pleased.

110 15th Pl S, MeridianWe eat here often. The name has changed to Rigo's and everything has gotten even better. Excellent selection on menu, and they will bend over backwards to customize your order. Owner/operators are on site and insure service is top notch. Prices are reasonable and portions are generous. Whether it is just my Wife and I or a larger group it is always enjoyable in the Mexican atmosphere.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Store
118 US-11 & 80, MeridianIt's a Cracker Barrel! So.... There is that. It also happens to have the newest Supercharger in Meridian, MS attached to it! That makes it a "SuperCrackerBarrel" in my opinion! Maybe even a "Super Cracker Not Lacking Electro Current Cracker Barrell"! ™. It's mine, you can't have it. I will find you! You can juice up the ride and fuel the body with some mediocre foods. That's like a win/tie!! Get it?? Win/Tie?? I am just so witty, I can't stand it! Our original server traded us off for a regular that came in and sat in another section. It's hard to deal with rejection right at the beginning of a relationship. We barely even just met, lady!! I shook it off well as the other server l was really nice and took good care of us. I'll send the therapy bill to Martha later. I never got to see any of the remodels that occurred that got everyone up in arms about Ol' Uncle Hershel, so this one looks just like they all do. Cool fireplace, nice warm colors. Just the right amount of dust covering the old artifacts. You know.... Just like the old days. Food was fair. My dumbass got catfish worth my UH breakfast. That was a mistake, but other than that I enjoyed my meal. Eggs were perfect and it was hot and fresh. Biscuits and gravy baskets make me really happy too!! Win/tie for sure!! I must not have gotten C's breakfast pic. She had pancakes and bacon which is always a winner!! She probably said something like "how many fucking pictures of pancakes do you need, Adam".... and I stopped. She's cool like that most days. I ended up spending almost a $100 on breakfast because of the stupid gift shop catching my wife with "sales". Is it really a sale if it is junk that you don't need? I think not.... We left with gifts for the in-laws, which I good I guess since we were on the way to see them just before Christmas. They are jerks, and don't deserve things. Nice visit. Supercharger makes it worth it really. I'll be back just for that I am sure. '26 - 7

The servers and staff are very friendly and accomodating, but the food is nothing to write home about. Being on the road as much as I am, Outback is usually consistent with food quality and service. When I'm not in the mood for any kind of surprise, but need a solid meal, it's - Outback here I come.
