“We love La Petite! My son has attended La Petite Academy Olive Branch for two separate times, once as an infant and again at 2 years old, and he has been so well taken care of during his time there. He loves his teacher Ms. Shamiya, and all of the other teachers, directors, and staff know him and say good morning to him when I drop him off. It's really a family environment. I've enjoyed getting to know Mrs. D, Allyson, Cheryl, Sierra, Tabitha, A'Niya, Alexus, and many other lovely folks who work up there during my son's enrollment.

It's also so convenient that meals and diapers are included in your tuition; it makes it one of, if not the most affordable center in town when you factor in that savings. Plus, I think it is helping my kid be less of a picky eater!

We also love the camera feed; sometimes when Max is having a rough morning I will check on him after an hour or so to make sure he has calmed down, and without fail he's always right in the thick of it all, playing his heart out. I encourage anyone, especially infants to toddlers as that's what our family has experienced specifically, to enroll at La Petite.

In the interest of fairness and awareness for any families considering enrolling, here are some things that you might want to be aware of if you are comparing childcare options: AM dropoff cutoff is strictly 9am. My son goes for half days (5 hours or less), and so sometimes that can be tricky because I have to interrupt his nap time in order to pick him up by 2pm, even if I wait until the very latest possible time to drop him off to try and give him time on the afternoon end for a good nap. That said, the LPA team is super flexible if I ever need to come late and let him stay for a full day; we just cover the extra charge on our next week's tuition. Another fact of life when it comes to daycare centers is that kids will be moving rooms fairly frequently; if you have a kid who is sensitive to change, you may want to work with the directors to help them transition gently to their next room. Until they turn 3-4 the babies and toddlers move to a new teacher's room about every 6 months, which zooms by quickly! Luckily, when my son struggled with going to a new room, they were very understanding and accommodated him by letting him start the day with his old teacher before moving to the next age group.

All that to say, I have had nothing but positive experiences whenever I've brought concerns to my son's care team, so if you enroll at La Petite my biggest recommendation is just to communicate with the staff! They are helpful and will do anything they can to try and help you.”

“Staff is extremely kind to both our daughter and son. My kids come back home tired which is a good thing, and express how nice their day was. Even other children are are nice and relatively well behaved for being toddlers.”
