“I would like to know why this post office serves so many rural areas that are not even in its county. I've heard it goes way back to horse and buggy days. Anyone have any insight?I grew up in Necaise Crossing, but this was always our post office. I've never been to the actual building. We've always had nice mail men and ladies. Whenever you get a new person they mix a few things up, but that's too be expected. Our old mail lady would even let me leave change in the mailbox and she would take my letters or packages. I would just leave a few bucks and she would make change. I thought that was so cool.”
