“Several years ago I was on a business trip out of state and the battery of my wife's Grand Marquis died. She had the car towed to this auto store on the suggestion of the tow driver. Buy Low Auto Parts sold her a good battery at a really good price and installed it. I was pleased with the whole process when I returned home and learned what had occurred.
A couple of days ago, this battery died. It was a four-year Continental and had lasted right at seven years! I called Buy Low and confirmed that, yes, they had a Continental battery for the car in stock. I got the car down to them and as I was getting out of the car (with difficulty) and was getting my cane, which I am using since recent knee replacement, it occurred that I could not carry that battery and I would have a hard time installing it. This was no problem because they replaced the battery very fast. I spent more time trying to get past the Hywy 43 railroad overpass road work than I did in the total time I was at Buy Low! Sure! What better service could be had? I highly recommend these nice people!”

“I left from New York, headed to Texas, and had to have my alternator and battery replaced at a shop in New Jersey. Then had to have my AC compressor replaced at another shop in Tuscaloosa. About 100 miles south of there on 59, the new alternator I got in New Jersey blew to pieces going down the freeway. The Firestone I had my van towed to couldn’t get the part, so AAA had it towed from there, 96 miles further south to Dependable Automotive in Picayune, and am I glad they did! They replaced the alternator in a very timely manner and the price was very fair! I was so impressed and pleased with the people and their service that I also had them replace some badly needed front end parts and do an alignment. If I lived in Picayune, Dependable Automotive would be my permanent go-to mechanic shop! They are caring, trustworthy and unlike some shops, actually use the parts and do the work they say they do. I VERY HIGHLY recommend them! :)”

Sometimes it takes him a while to get to your car because he’s always so packed since everyone wants him to work on their car. But he very well knows what he’s doing and can mostly likely fix it if it’s not too bad. You just have to be patient with him. For his mechanics I can’t say too much because I don’t know how good they are, but Curtis himself is a very smart man with good intent.”
