“Had lunch at Logan Farms. Very nice experience. The roast beef sandwich was delicious, the price was fair, the people were efficient and friendly . . .I should go more often. And I will. I returned today and had their Red Beans and Rice. As a south Mississippi guy, I consider myself somewhat of an expert on red beans and rice, and today's serving was delicious. The red beans were done perfectly and were sprinkled with pieces of sausage. All at a reasonable price. Yes, today Logan Farms distinguished itself with its serving of Red Beans and Rice.”

Great service, great food, and you can definitely feel the Southern Hospitality. I would give it 10 stars if I could.”

“This place is great. Prices used to be high (you get what you pay for though) but after inflation they are roughly the same as Kroger. Top of the line ground beef at Kroger is 9.99lb and there’s is 7.99lb and you can taste the difference and you know where it came from and the people that raised the cattle. Who knows what they are putting in and feeding the cattle that you get from the store. I highly recommend this place. Shop local people.”

“Carniceria Valdez is a great option for Mexican food and it is a great example that the best Mexican food comes from humble establishments rather than some high-end establishment heavy on atmosphere and ambiance. Carniceria Valdez is literally a counter in the back of a Mexican grocery, but coming out of that kitchen is some mighty fine Mexican food.I went with a couple of tacos and a gordita. For the gordita, I went with chorizo as the protein and for the tacos I went with the asada and the barbacoa. The tacos were just under two dollars each ($1.99 to be exact) and the gordita was, I believe, $3.50.I probably enjoyed the gordita the most and the chorizo was definitely my favorite protein out of my three choices.The staff was friendly enough, though the ordering process was you walk up to the counter and order your meal and they call you up when it is ready. All in all, I would definitely recommend here and I will give it five stars.”
