“My wife and I stayed for several days to visit our daughter at MSU. Great location on the main strip of the downtown area (the original main street by the courthouse. We stayed in the suite with separate living room. If you come in expecting a Marriott, you're going to be disappointed. But, if you enjoy boutique and non-chain hotels, this is a gem. Check-in process was very quick and easy. The room itself was great. The living room area was very southern-comfy with furniture looking like it was someone's parlor. TVs in both the living room and bedroom. Fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and all the regular amenities. Several good coffee houses, restaurants, and shops in easy walking distance. In one of the best displays of customer service I've ever seen, on the morning we left there was a torrential downpour. Even though I was parked next to the front door, the owner personally carried an umbrella to ensure both my wife and I would not get wet. I will absolutely stay here again on our next visit to MSU!”

“*update after response from owner- I did call, again they refused to honor despite over 7 days notice ahead timeBEWARE!!!! I was charged the full amount to stay here even though I cancelled over a week in advance. They refuse to assist or honor their cancellation policy.”

“The building is old, stained, and could use repairs. The dining area in the lobby had ceiling damage that needs to be repaired. My room was free from bugs and smells, which I appreciated. But, in my room the sink had a clog so the water drained very slowly. Also, there was cigarette burn in the cover that needs to be replaced.

The front desk staff was helpful in providing additional towels, new room keys, and made sure our check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient.”
