“While I'm not too gung-ho on America, especially in this part of the country, with its MAGA & gun nut billboards lining the highway, I'm generally pretty fond of Americana, & Sinclair has it in droves with its dinosaur mascot & signage, at least at the locations where it still exists.The Sinclair logo is such an iconic part of American history, Route 66, & travel that a version made it into the popular Cars movies from Pixar.Oh & they sell gas, too! Stop by & fuel up with fun!”

“We moved to Macon County in ‘24.
Our truck got a flat tire going north on Hwy 63 a couple weeks ago. We weren’t far from Charley’s however, only having heard of Charley’s, I thought it was just heavy rigs that they worked on.
Needing the tire fixed, we reached out and they said c’mon in. Fixed us up efficiently and quickly. We were on the road in no time! Couple weeks later, I reached out to see if they do normal routine maintenance on regular drivers- without hesitation he said sure enough!
I took in my daily driver to have brakes checked, tires checked and rotated, oil change, and help with a pesky engine light that keeps going off and on. As most people, I was a little leery because I have no history or knowledge of how Charley’s would take care of my vehicle (other than the tire a couple weeks ago).
The service on my vehicle was completed the same day I took it in. James is the one who worked on my vehicle and I felt they listened and understood what I needed done on my car and when I picked it up, he went over the vehicle and made sure I didn’t have any further questions or concerns.
Charley’s has been a staple of the community for YEARS. Charley’s just earned some new customers. Try ‘em out for yourself, tell Charles Jennifer sent ya! (Although he is not always personally there because they offer ‘house calls’ for farm customers and 24-hr emergency roadside assistance, so whoever you talk to telling them Jennifer sent you will carry the same clout! ?)”
