“So i absolutely adore this store however I think it's annoying that it's called 5 below and almost everything is more, especially when I see some things that iv seen elsewhere that was way cheaper I get jt different stores different prices but ehen the title to your name is 5 below and people on a budget see the name they think "oh heck yeah" just to get there to realize a few things here and there are 5$. I just kinda feel as if it is misinterpreted. Like I said I see things there that's iv seen at the dollar store but 5 dollars there. Just doesn't make since. However I can't help but to say this store is one of my favorites they have such a huge variety of things I literally get stuck in the store everytime.”

“I had an amazing experience at 5 Below while purchasing 34 glass drink containers. On April 30th, 2024, around 2 PM, a manager and an employee provided outstanding assistance. They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, ensuring I found everything I needed. Their exceptional service exceeded my expectations. Kudos to the staff for their outstanding performance. “Store is not well-sorted. It’s like the equivalent of searching through the bins to find some gems. The place is a little musty BUT it has TWO stories full of clothes that range from “grandmas old shirt” to “wow - what a good deal”. One of the workers here looks like Santa and even advertises himself as Santa ;) he’s really funny to our little grandkids.”

“This Dollar Tree is mid-size and carries a lot of inventory. Most of the items are $1.25, with the exception of the dollar plus section where items are $3 or $5. Sunglasses are $1.50. This location had items I have not seen at other DTs, like colored extension cords and T-rex tape cutter. When the lines got long, they had 2 cashiers working that shortened the wait time at checkout. Will was friendly and asked if I found what I was looking for. When I mentioned the situation, Will immediately jumped in to help. He asked someone to cover the other register so he could go in back and find me what I was looking for. He said he saw one and knew exactly where it was in back. “I shop DG because there are some food, household, and personal care items that I just don't care to park a football field away at Walmart and trudge through the store to buy the same, virtually the same, or equivalent item at twice the price. So, when I discover I'm out of antiperspirant or shave cream I head to DG, park in front of the store, grab what I want, and I'm out in a jiffy. This location also has refrigerated and frozen foods.”

“The older man named Gary was so helpful. I was third in line and I witnessed him going far and beyond what he needed to do. He was kind to the children that were in line with their parents. You dont see that often. I wish I could see this sort of customer service everywhere I go. There is something to say about the older generation. We know good customer service and Gary shows that.”

“Easy to get in and out of this store. They are usually well stocked and have most of the items I'm looking for. I've even found some of the viral items that are talked about on social media. Since I've seen a few reviews about the employees, I'd like to address some things. First, Ashley. From what I can tell, she's likely neurodivergent. Some people don't understand what it's like to deal with that. I've never had a problem with her, and I'm glad she's working and integrating into our society as best she can. A young lady like her could be drawing a disability check but instead she wants to work. Before you complain about her, check yourself. If you didn't know the signs of neurodivergence until reading this, now you know so that you can do better next time. Second, Shewit. She is the sweetest woman. She's always been helpful to me. Third, the elderly woman that keeps coming up in the reviews. That's likely Nancy. Why is Nancy still employed with Dollar Tree? I keep trying to avoid her by going to a different Dollar Tree only to find her working at the other stores too. I even went to the new store in Chesterfield, happy to think I might get a reprieve from listening to all of that, but no. She was working there. All she ever does is yell at her manager, yell at her co-workers, complain to and about customers, and talk about how she use to tend bar. I wish she'd go back to tending bar and give us customers a rest. Hopefully in a town where the 80's overly dyed, big, heavy hairspray hair is still in style. She's a very difficult person to deal with. As for the prices on merchandise, it's a discount store! When their costs go up, so does the price of the merchandise. There's plenty of other places to shop in Chesterfield if you're unhappy with the prices at a dollar store.”
