Not just helpful, legendarily helpful. She didn’t just point me in the right direction—she charged ahead with me, eyes sparkling with genuine enthusiasm, like helping a lost Dasher was the highlight of her shift.
She grabbed every item with zero hesitation, double-checked the list, and did it all with this infectious energy that made the whole thing feel effortless. To her, it was “no big deal.” To me? It was everything. She turned a total meltdown into a moment of pure gratitude.
Kayla doesn’t just work at Five Below—she elevates it. If kindness, speed, and care had a face, it’d be hers. Absolute angel. Retail royalty. I’d wait in line just to be helped by her again.”

“Had issues with pac man head phones. Took it back to return and they went beyond what they could to make it right. We grabbed other headphones since usually we have no issues with their headphones and my children really like their cute styles.”
“Went here 01/21 little past 6 pm and the employees there were very nice and helpful! This is hands down the best location I’ve been to it’s always SO clean and organized and stocked. And they had rly good music playing!”
“Store is not well-sorted. It’s like the equivalent of searching through the bins to find some gems. The place is a little musty BUT it has TWO stories full of clothes that range from “grandmas old shirt” to “wow - what a good deal”. One of the workers here looks like Santa and even advertises himself as Santa ;) he’s really funny to our little grandkids.”

The people here are very nice and keep a clean store. You can tell the managers take pride in their job and it shows when you see them working with and helping people.

“This Dollar Tree is mid-size and carries a lot of inventory. Most of the items are $1.25, with the exception of the dollar plus section where items are $3 or $5. Sunglasses are $1.50. This location had items I have not seen at other DTs, like colored extension cords and T-rex tape cutter. When the lines got long, they had 2 cashiers working that shortened the wait time at checkout. “This store was completely stocked, clean and perfectly organized. I would have been able to spend hours in there. Julia was so welcoming and offered a friendly smile and conversation as we finished our transaction. It was refreshing to see such a clean store especially with the holidays around the corner.”

“I shop DG because there are some food, household, and personal care items that I just don't care to park a football field away at Walmart and trudge through the store to buy the same, virtually the same, or equivalent item at twice the price. So, when I discover I'm out of antiperspirant or shave cream I head to DG, park in front of the store, grab what I want, and I'm out in a jiffy. This location also has refrigerated and frozen foods.”

“Plenty of options clothing wise and all decent to big name brands. Wife, daughter, and I have been able to find lots of things. Puts me in mind of Value City.
Only downfall is the clothing is disorganized. Found many different kinds of clothes all mixed up in sizes. For the amount of clothes though not bad. Will Definitely be back”
“The older man named Gary was so helpful. I was third in line and I witnessed him going far and beyond what he needed to do. He was kind to the children that were in line with their parents. You dont see that often. I wish I could see this sort of customer service everywhere I go. There is something to say about the older generation. We know good customer service and Gary shows that.”

“Easy to get in and out of this store. They are usually well stocked and have most of the items I'm looking for. I've even found some of the viral items that are talked about on social media. Since I've seen a few reviews about the employees, I'd like to address some things. First, Ashley. From what I can tell, she's likely neurodivergent. Some people don't understand what it's like to deal with that. I've never had a problem with her, and I'm glad she's working and integrating into our society as best she can. A young lady like her could be drawing a disability check but instead she wants to work. Before you complain about her, check yourself. If you didn't know the signs of neurodivergence until reading this, now you know so that you can do better next time. Second, Shewit. She is the sweetest woman. She's always been helpful to me. Third, the elderly woman that keeps coming up in the reviews. That's likely Nancy. Why is Nancy still employed with Dollar Tree? I keep trying to avoid her by going to a different Dollar Tree only to find her working at the other stores too. I even went to the new store in Chesterfield, happy to think I might get a reprieve from listening to all of that, but no. She was working there. All she ever does is yell at her manager, yell at her co-workers, complain to and about customers, and talk about how she use to tend bar. I wish she'd go back to tending bar and give us customers a rest. Hopefully in a town where the 80's overly dyed, big, heavy hairspray hair is still in style. She's a very difficult person to deal with. As for the prices on merchandise, it's a discount store! When their costs go up, so does the price of the merchandise. There's plenty of other places to shop in Chesterfield if you're unhappy with the prices at a dollar store.”
