Called the pharmacy three times from different phones and the pharmacist acted as if they could not hear me speaking with them EACH time. Bad customer service and not even attempting to see if they’re having issues or not.

30 minutes on hold this evening to check a prescription. I chose to just go in instead. The tech working said everyone had quit and she can't do the counter, drive thru, and phones herself. Management has let this location fail. Take your business elsewhere.

Dropped off a script and asked if I could wait for it. It was something I needed right away. I was discouraged from waiting and told it would be 30 minutes at a minimum. I said I would wait and I don’t think my decision was appreciated. It was clear the pharmacy didn’t want to fill the script while I waited and the pharmacist was not very pleasant or accommodating. They filled my script in under 10 minutes - tells me they could have done it (because they did) - they just didn’t want to. Not very friendly at checkout either since I seemed to have inconvenienced them.

I refilled a prescription online, was told that it would be ready the next day after 12:30. Went to the store, was told it wasn’t ready and it would take at least 30 minutes. I went back the next day, the pharmacist was very rude, said it wasn’t ready because my insurance carrier said that the prescription had already been filled, which he admitted that it hadn’t, but his attitude throughout our conversation was very rude. I will no longer use this location, and am considering dropping Walgreens services altogether!

They refused to fill prescription. I was going to Costco but this Walgreens is closer so I asked my primary to change to Walgreens. Walgreens automated voicemail said prescription would be ready in the morning. Showed up afternoon and after waiting several minutes in line they said not ready, come back 10-15 minutes. Set a timer for 15 minutes and got back in line after the timer went off. They took insurance and typed in computer a few minutes, asked someone for help, typed a few more minutes, asked someone for help again, then came back and said they wouldn’t fill the prescription. Asked why and they said they wouldn’t fill the prescription. So after about a hour of waiting for a prescription that was suppose to be ready for pickup I still don’t have anything. I’ve called my primary to change back to Costco.

I switched to this pharmacy a while back after I couldn’t deal with the attitude of one of the pharmacy drive up staff at the 24hr Creve Coeur location. Typically customer service at this location is much better. However, in the last two months I have received prescriptions that were shorted. Today I went to get the two pills we were shorted for my young child. Pulled out of the drive thru and thought “I should check those two.” Sure enough they gave me the wrong pills!! So I went inside and had to wait in line again. Talked to the tech and she couldn’t help so I had to wait for the pharmacist. I was informed that someone else had just been there for the exact same situation (so I assume the same med, just different dose). The pharmacist muttered, “Why didn’t we check that…” as he walked away. He came back with the correct two pills and said when they “fix these things it doesn’t go through all the steps.” He also explained that these two pills were double the dosage of what my child needs. I don’t know what steps are that they skip in the “fixing” process, but it sounds like they shouldn’t skip those as this could have been bad for my child. So yes, they did make it right, but this has me on alert for any scripts being filled there. I would suggest not leaving line until you open each bottle, count them and make sure they match the description on the pill bottle. (I should add that in this instance three pill bottle clearly states it’s a blue pill and the two I was given were tan so it’s not as though they look exactly alike).

Edited 2/25/24 My experiences at this location have improved significantly since the last review I posted. I am usually able to get ordered prescriptions within the day they are sent.
The pharmacy staff at this location are friendly enough, but they are woefully under staffed. I have a bad sinus infection and have been ordered an antibiotic for it. The antibiotic was called in over 24 hours ago. I tried calling on the phone to check on it and waited on hold for half an hour (with only two people in front of me) and never got through. When I checked on it in person, I was told they were very backed up and it would be at least another hour. I would recommend choosing another place if you need a prescription filled quickly.

Walgreens does not deserve my business any longer and no longer supports my needs or meet my expectations. On Dec 14 at around 2:00 pm I called to get a status on a prescription, after being informed that my prescription was ready I asked if there were any discount available. I was told that I had to look for that by myself. After explaining that the pharmacy had done that for me in the past she continued to say I had to do the search myself (I have no idea how to do the research). After asking the question differently the pharmacist toll me that she had no time to look at discounts for me and then hung up. In summary, I have no time nor money to spend at a place that has no time for me

My husband and I (who are 84 and 73 years old) went to this Walgreens last night at 6 PM for our RSV vaccine appointments. During the hour and a half wait, we witnessed long lines at the pharmacy during the entire time we waited. The 2 staff members were trying their very best to provide kind and competent service but were totally overwhelmed. It was obvious that they were severely short staffed and got absolutely no support from management. A manager never came to check on the area or to help them. It felt like we were in a 3rd world country with long lines and severely abused staff and customers having to witness the exhaustion and anguish they were enduring. It is not the kind of service any reasonable person would expect when paying $600 for 2 vaccines. To watch sick people waiting in long lines for their medications was not a pleasant experience. Our wait was further exacerbated by delays in processing our insurance information and by running out of forms that needed to be completed. We were instructed to call my husband's insurance company (which hasn't changed in years) on my cell phone to get information needed for authorization. He is hard of hearing and can't talk on the phone so the insurance company would not give me the information. Luckily the kind staff member was finally able to find the authorization information on one of the pharmacy computers. Then we had to complete forms that we had already completed on-line the day before because the computer was unable to process them. The 2 staff members were incredibly kind and kept apologizing for the delays. You could see the extreme stress and anguish in their eyes. It was a most difficult and anger inducing experience for us. CMS (Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services) has concerns about this difficult vaccination process, especially for the elderly. This vaccination process is most unfortunate and needs immediate attention and corrections to streamline the process and make it less cumbersome for the elderly. As bad as it was for us, we were more concerned for the abused staff members. Walgreens needs to correct its staffing shortages as soon as possible and hire managers that help and support their staff. In Walgreen's defense, CVS in this area has suspended their vaccine program due to "poor staffing". So at least Walgreens is willing to continue to provide vaccines even though the process is cumbersome and wait times are long. We do not in any way blame the staff as they were most kind and competent as they struggled to deal with a broken system.

I actually had a great experience last night... I went for my Covid and Flu jabs last night and the pharmacist (Tanisha Abraham) couldn't have been sweeter. Excellent service and care. Nice to get good service these days!

I guess I'll have to move my prescriptions to elsewhere. I have sat at the drive through for over ten minutes without someone coming. 3 times now. And when using my good rx they said it wouldn't work even though I had all the info that matched. Basically she was like nothing I can do.

I stopped coming to this pharmacy after years of awful service and massive wait times. Today after an urgent care visit they sent my scrip here instead of my new usual cvs. They of course didn't have my scrip ready and asked me to give them 15minutes. I gave them 30 and when I went back up to the counter they said to give them another 20...This is the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. Walgreens needs to hire more people for this location if they can't handle the volume of customers.

Pharmacy-my first vaccination was so brutal that I had bruises on my arm for over a week after work. The second time I went in person behind a desk very loudly, in front of everyone who happened to be standing around, talked me out of having more than one vaccination at a time even though the website encouraged... And then argued with me once I decided OK, I would just have one shot. The last time I went in for a vaccination, the person behind the desk was chomping gum, and was laughing and talking to other people, while I was giving her my basic information. Just so dismissive. I really need to find a new place to get my vaccinations.
