“I had such a great experience here today. I don't typically come to this commerce location, but I needed currency exchange and this is the only commerce location that does it in stl. It was such an easy process! It's Clayton, so you'll most likely have to pay for parking. I found a spot right outside of the bank (lucky me) and paid easily on the app. For 30 minutes it was 90 cents. I wasn't sure what the wait time would be like, so better safe than sorry. The building itself is super nice and has a city feel- fits right in with the Clayton vibe. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a staff member that asked what I needed help with. I told her and she told me I'd be helped momentarily. I was then helped by a staff member behind the counter. They have euros on site, so you can easily do your exchange right then and there. He did the conversion for me and asked for my approval, it was super simple. He was kind and easy going, very pleasant to talk to. The entire exchange took under 10 minutes, and I was in and out. Thank you commerce!”

“An excellent bank, great people and service. Someone really stupid designed the parking lot however at the Clayton office. Everything is in reverse including the entrance and exit ways, and so you drive through the teller backwards as to the intended design and face away from the bankers window. It is embarasing that no one has corrected this and simply reverse the entrance and exit ways. Must have been an Wash U graduate.”

“There are two employees that I would like to give an outstanding review towards. Julie, and Wella at the Clayton, MO location. I have had some financial difficulties over the last few months, and Julie was nothing but understanding and helpful when I needed to resolve some issues on my account. Unfortunately, I ended up in the same situation shortly after, my account had overdrawn again. When I called to inquire about the fresh start loan that is when I spoke with Wella. Like Julie, Wella did an amazing job at providing me all the necessary information, and treated me with nothing but the utmost respect and kindness. I truly appreciate both individuals for their OUTSTANDING customer service. I will forever recommend Sterling Bank, and for as long as I am able to, they will always have me as a customer! I was contemplating on renewing my CD add-on, but after such a positive experience today, I went ahead and renewed it! Customer service goes a long way. I would also like to give an honorable mention to Cynthia for assisting me in opening both my checking, and CD account. She answered all my questions, and even assisted me in using my debit card at the ATM to make sure it was working. That extra step goes a long way when you don’t necessarily live nearby, or rely on others for transportation. To anyone searching for a new bank, may this review help make your decision.”
