“I showed up at the store at 8:02 PM, not realizing they close at 8. The nice manager was at the front door explained they were closing, but offered to let me come in if I knew exactly what I needed. I would have never asked for this courtesy, but was so grateful to have the opportunity to pick up 3 essential items. The 3 female staff members at the customer service & checkout were just as friendly and kind. From the few minutes I was there, the store appeared very clean and organized. THANK YOU again, Porter’s Supermarket! Your employees are awesome!”

“THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE! I have had the pleasure of shopping at this Dollar General for over a year and from Christian the manager to Adam the assistant manager Molly, Michael and Thomas ALL have been courteous, kind, professional and helpful in assisting me to locate products, ALWAYS friendly and welcoming me into the store with a cheerful smile. The shelves are always stocked, and I have especially noticed their patience when assisting Senior Citizens in processing their orders, does that mean on a rare occasion I may wait just a tad bit longer to get checked out while they are HELPING someone, sure, but NORMALLY they process my shopping order quickly, courteously and professionally, and when I am elderly and disabled I know I’ll get the same kind and patient customer service. Funny as I think of it they all make it seem like I’m entering a huge home pantry with helpers to find what I want.”

“I've used Walgreens for decades until the service got so bad that I was on hold at times for over an hour. I moved to CVS... very briefly! When I switched insurance, I tried the Neighborhood Walmart on Republic and Golden. The technicians are awesome, and they actually answer the phone with short wait, if any. I can't say enough about the pharmacists. They always go the extra mile,.. very professional, yet personable!”
“Love this store. Ladies that work here are very nice! Some items are 1or 2 dollars higher than Walmart that’s down the road. Some items that are in the $1 section you can find elsewhere for under a dollar. Also do NOT buy the Halloween wigs!!!!!!! I know that they are cheap, only $8 but these are the most cheapest made wigs I have ever seen. Half of the wig has no hair, it’s just strips of hair. You can’t brush the wig because the hair falls off. It’s not even worth a dollar. I wouldn’t take it if they gave it to me for free. I wasn’t expecting much but this shouldn’t even be sold. It’s going back!”

I was able to get exactly what I needed to get in and get out and back on the road so that was extremely helpful. The store was really clean the parking lot was nice. I have nothing bad that I can say about this location. It's also right off of the main road and easy to get to/to find.”
