Came into the store today 1/13/24 with my husband and son (5) looking for a dress and a suitcase. Our son was hiding in the racks, like most kids would, when an employee came up and started yelling at him. My husband then took our son and walked away while I continued to look through the dresses. And while I’m standing there, the same employee that yelled at my son, continues to belittle my son to another one of her coworkers. I immediately asked to speak with a manager. Manager comes, I point out the two employees. Manager turns his back to them and attempts to deescalate the situation all while the two employees are standing there smiling at me. Hopefully they were taught their boundaries today because I’ll be coming back in to do some shopping and I might handle things in a different way if they approach my family again.

same thing happened to another reviewer - no dressing rooms to try on clothes and when I asked about the return policy, the worker told me I could bring them in with tags and receipt within 2 weeks. didn't mention the exchange. in their defense, it is posted at all the check outs and on the receipt. I just didn't think to look when the counter was covered in clothes and I asked an employee. super inconvenient. I'll continue to shop here but I doubt I'll ever buy clothes again.

They have a terrible return policy. There are no dressing rooms so you can’t try anything on, but they won’t give store credit or your money back. Instead, you have to RE- spend the same amount of money in the store ALL AT ONCE, perpetuating a never-ending cycle of buying, taking home, trying on, going back to the store - again and again- or just eating the $. It makes zero sense, is TERRIBLE customer service and is completely illogical

They have gone crazy with their prices, $15-$20 for shoes that have no soles left, $18 for men's jeans that you can get at the Goodwill down the street for $8. All ralph lauren and brooks brothers shirts $15+, used DVDs for the same price you can find them in the Walmart movie bin.Why does this store not offer discounts based on tag color like the stores up north do? Instead if something sits on the shelf and doesn't sell it just gets thrown in the trash compactor out back.prices are retail or even higher $50 for Nintendo games, $14 for 20 year old computer tech that nobody uses anymore. The excitement of thrifting and finding something for cheap doesn't exist here. The thrill of the treasure hunt is unfortunately gone at savers stores anywhere in the St. Louis area now, what a shame.

I love to come and look after my shifts and every time I come the staff is rude to me and the prices go up. They also close way before it says they close online and they lock the doors definitely before 9. Tonight an employee took my cart and said goodnight rudely 15 minutes before 9. I’ve also been yelled at by staff here for just looking at jewelry that wasn’t tagged yet but was left out on the floor. Which sucks because I have been coming to savers for years and am very disappointed because this is the closest location to me.

I took my four grandsons shopping for school clothes. they are all at various stages of growth so we weren't sure what sizes would fit. Unfortunately, there are no dressing rooms. The cashier told me that we could try them on at home and return them. She did not tell me that you can only return for an exchange, and you have to spend the money that day. No gift cards,no store credit. I had about $75 worth of things to exchange. Was not going to spend that much again in one day. Guess I'll just have to return a few things at a time.

I’ve had lots of good finds here, especially for clothing. However, the pricing has been out of touch. You can get better deals at places like Ross for new clothing. The glassware section has tons of dollar tree items being priced at 3-5 dollars, ridiculous. But at least you can get scratched up Teflon pan for 10 dollars!

Big store. Has much to offer. It is a shopping wonderland of knick knacks. If you broke a plate in your collection, they probably have more than one :) at Savers!

Love Savers!! And especially on Tuesdays, seniors get 30% off! It’s so fun going there because you never know what you’re going to find, but you always find something!

Very unprofessional making customers scan their own merchandise. I do not work for savers and should not have to do their job for them. My family will not be shopping there anymore and will tell friends and others family members to not shop there as well. We do not do self check out at any store. Savers should have one register open with a cashier for those who do not want to use self check out.
