“This Dollar Tree is mid-size and carries a lot of inventory. Most of the items are $1.25, with the exception of the dollar plus section where items are $3 or $5. Sunglasses are $1.50. This location had items I have not seen at other DTs, like colored extension cords and T-rex tape cutter. When the lines got long, they had 2 cashiers working that shortened the wait time at checkout. They are located in a strip mall near other stores like Marshalls and TJMaxx. .|---/| | @_@ | ..\_^_/..2024”
“Have been lucking for a rug for my new apartment for weeks! This was so much better than shopping online. Great large space and selection. Wide price range to fit most budgets. I found a rug that was selling for 100-200 dollars more at other retailers! Great deals here”
“It is packed to the gills . But James ( I think is his name ) took great care of our 2 vacuums . He repaired one really fast. We went to pick it up and took him our second. He repaired that one and it was ready in one day. Prices were good. I give him a 10 out of 10.”
“Gratitude #Lafamilia Manager with amazing tattoos and lady at register went above and beyond customer service satisfaction please give them both promotions and raises THEY ARE AWESOME”
“Best place to stop when you need groceries after work. Easy to find stuff, prices are clear, always good meat specials, quick check out and the nicest staff of any grocery store.”
“This location was well stocked and has items that I haven't found at others. All that I was looking for I found here. There was also a greeting when I came through the door.”
“Omg when I say it’s so organized…it’s so organized! Everything was well put together, clean, staff were friendly and of course items are $5 but a few are just a tad bit more. It’s okay not complaining. I didn’t even know t-shirts were sold here, even graphics. If you’re looking for inexpensive items, from home goods to beauty to electronics to clothing to accessories to goodies, this the place to go! This beats out DG & FD put together, no cap!”
“Had issues with pac man head phones. Took it back to return and they went beyond what they could to make it right. We grabbed other headphones since usually we have no issues with their headphones and my children really like their cute styles.”
“Store is not well-sorted. It’s like the equivalent of searching through the bins to find some gems. The place is a little musty BUT it has TWO stories full of clothes that range from “grandmas old shirt” to “wow - what a good deal”. One of the workers here looks like Santa and even advertises himself as Santa ;) he’s really funny to our little grandkids.”
“Went here 01/21 little past 6 pm and the employees there were very nice and helpful! This is hands down the best location I’ve been to it’s always SO clean and organized and stocked. And they had rly good music playing!”
“Unfortunately let me start by saying, the names like Dollar Tree, Dollar General, and Family Dollar are just store names now...Due to high theft these days, prices have had to go up..And to the person who said something about the workers not knowing when certain products will be delivered. They do not .The store staff themselves dont order products..It all comes from corporate, they send what they want to send...That's why they say there not sure..And although alot isn't 5 dollars anymore..Alot of it still is..And some things are a steal for the prices they sell it for...Staff is always nice and caring and helpful...But if you know people who boost from stores..you might want to tell them to stop so prices everywhere will go back down...And inflation has been bad at all stores anymore...So shop lifters need to get real jobs...Cuz the working people don't like basically paying for your items when they check out. All around good customer service and for the most part store prices are reasonable. They carry a lot of stuff I had my seen since my kids were little and in some cases when I was younger...”
“Love the stores but the app is really a waste of time. It'll say things are in stock when they're not. No one ever answers their store phones...its difficult if you are looking for something...its a gamble”
“Maybe too many individual servings and I feel like I'm getting nickel and dimed too much!! Let's try to be a more affordable and healthier selections. Thank you for your time”
“Great people very good at what they do . very kind always nice to me. it has changed a lot more food for people in the area that like that kind of food. great manager wonderful employees”
“Always a great place to stock up on crafty supplies. Sucks they're raising prices so much. Stupid how they just put red circle on the stock they already had stamped with $1.25 on it.”
“Five Below sells stuff like a lot of women things like make-up,sleepwear,perfume,body spray, snacks, electronics for your cellphone, household decorations, reading books and tee-shirts and you will seem to always have a great shopping experience with them whenever you come there to buy something for you are someone else!!!”
“Great local store. Cheap prices. Feels like you're in the backrooms. Came in clutch often times when I procrastinate and forget to buy groceries and too lazy to drive too far. Parking available.”
“This Save-A-Lot store is clean and stocked with fresh food. The aisles are impeccable, the floors shine and the employees are helpful. I want to move to the area just for the customer service. Great job.”
“It's been a while since I've shopped here. It was a quick run, only a few things. NO MORE quarters needed for carts (THAT'S how long it's been). My cashier was a nice young man by the name of HOLDEN. Thank you Holden. 😊”
“This dollar tree is pretty decent. I'm a door tree connoisseur and this is one of the better locations. They are decently stocked everytime I'm in. I'm still a little hurt about dollar tree raising all their prices to $1.25 and that's the only reason for the 4 star rating.”
“This Dollar Tree is always organized and stocked well. The staff keeps this location very neat and clean. I actually drive past another DT just to go to this location”
“I just love the dollar tree store . the people that work there are always so kind and helpful .the store has sooooo much cool stuff u might not find anywhere and it's always clean . and .u can't beat the prices .keep up the good work and God bless.”
“Awesome store! Some staff are absolutely awesome! Consider talking to younger staff members for better info. Many selections except for the viral squishy dumplings… Overall, definitely go check it out! :)”
“Gahhh damn I thank god everyday over the last week since I had the pleasure of discovering this place. I frequent dollar trees all over the city and counties it’s my favorite place since fr and this location is top tier. Have not found a better location in Missouri thus yet. Enjoy this gem folks🥂badadada come to Doller Tree where everything is basically freee”
“Dollar Tree is affordable and has wonderful staff. One of the employees really went out of her way to help me find an item I needed, even taking the time to check the back stock area to see if it was available. That kind of helpful service makes a big difference, and I really appreciated the extra effort. AAA+++”
“Nice, helpful, wonderful workers that try and keep order in this large store full of great things with a dollar 25 price.Whoever the landlord is does not take care of the outside strip mall, it is so overgrown with plants and the trash needs to be dumped I would be ashamed to call it my own.”
“The work was so helpful here, it was so clean here. When I needed help a worker kindly assisted me despite her being busy and I didn't want to bother her. I was going to honestly look for the item myself but truthfully I was lost since it my first time going to this Dollar general! But she helped me anyway which was so sweet. Thank you so much. I hope they give her raise!”
“Super great staff. I had an asthma attack while in store & they did everything they could to help me including getting a chair for me & bringing my car to front of store so I wouldn’t & couldn’t walk to it. I was embarrassed, and they reassured me not to be embarrassed and were so kind. Plus, the store is my go to In all the dollar trees around well stocked, clean and so friendly.”
“I popped in quickly to buy a birthday card and some balloons. Everything was easy to find and the store was tidy and picked up well. I got good service at the register. All in all, I got what I needed from this visit and I would stop in again.”
“Great air fresheners, silicon spoon rests/potholders/cup covers. Unbeatable for gift packaging, party supplies, and gift cards. Very reasonable basic office supplies and decorations for all seasons and holidays. Forget Walmart.”
Burlington Stores is giving its locations a major makeover. The off-price retailer has already transformed about half of its 1,115 stores and plans to complete the redesign across its entire fleet by the end of 2026. The company calls this makeover "Store Experience 2.0." Gone are the cramped aisles and confusing layouts that once defined discount shopping. Instead, Burlington is creating wider walkways, organized sections, and clearer signs to help shoppers find what they need.
Dollar General is adding more of its private label food offerings to stores, following similar moves by big retailers like Walmart and Amazon as store brands keep growing in popularity. The store is launching new items under its own labels, including ice cream, cinnamon rolls, coffee syrups, and salad dressings. The move comes as store brand sales reached $271 billion in 2024, up nearly 4% from 2023.
Daiso, the beloved Japanese retailer known for its variety of affordable household goods, is expanding further in the U.S. market. This week, the company is celebrating the grand openings of three new stores in Texas and California. On Saturday, Aug. 10, Daiso debuted an 8,000-sq.-ft. location in Beaumont, Texas, at Dowlen Towne Center, as well as two Southern California stores - a 6,319-sq.-ft. space in Van Nuys at Mid Valley Marketplace and a 5,200-sq.-ft. store in Westminster at Westminster Center.
Dollar Tree is moving into 170 former 99 Cents Only stores, marking a big shift in the discount retail landscape. The company announced Wednesday it's taking over leases in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas, with plans to reopen the stores under its own brand as early as fall 2024.
Ollie's Bargain Outlet just landed a great deal of its own, winning a $14.6 million bankruptcy auction for 11 former 99 Cents Only store locations across Texas. The discount retail chain pounced after 99 Cents Only abruptly went out of business in March, shuttering all 371 of its stores in California, Arizona, Texas, and Nevada. Ollie's quickly made an opening "stalking horse bid" to grab over a dozen of the empty properties.
