Took Max for his first visit. Tatiana is WONDERFUL! She was kind, gentle and spoke softly to my 10 year old cockapoo. Max came back clean, beautifully cut and not stressed out at all! She handles one pup at a time so he wasn’t sitting in a cage for hours. Her shop is clean, orderly and up to date. It was all around a great experience! Will be making our next appointment with Tatiana in a few weeks. Thank you Tatiana!!

We adopted our sweet boy, Johnny, in October 2025, and it didn’t take long to realize he could benefit from some training. He needed help with basic obedience, and we were also noticing some behavioral challenges.

After looking into options, my sister highly recommended Sorenson, and we decided to move forward with the 4-week board and train program following our consultation with our trainer, Emily.

I was a nervous wreck at drop-off—especially since Johnny can be reactive with new people. But Emily took things slow and allowed Johnny to warm up at his own pace. He quickly became comfortable with her, and she provided regular updates throughout his stay, which really helped ease my worries.

At our 3-week session, I was honestly blown away. Johnny was responding to commands and following through with very little hesitation. Even with his excitement to see me, he stayed focused and did an amazing job. His reactivity toward other dogs and people had also improved significantly. It was clear that he had built a strong bond with Emily, and she shared that he was doing well with other staff members too.

By graduation a week later, we saw even more progress. Emily took the time to walk us through everything Johnny had learned, answered all of our questions, and made sure we felt confident continuing his training at home. It’s obvious how much she loves what she does and how much she genuinely cares about every dog she works with.

We know this isn’t a “quick fix,” and that we’ll need to continue working with Johnny—especially when it comes to new people and other dogs—but the progress he’s made and the tools Emily gave us will truly be life-changing for both Johnny and our family.

I can’t recommend Emily and Sorenson enough!

P.S. He also came home with a nail trim, bath, and blowout… looking very handsome! ?
