“I could probably spend all day in this store. And probably all my money. So many items that brought back memories. Will definitely be back to spend more time and money”
“Brian and his team at The Brass Alligator did a truly remarkable job helping me through two major phases of handling my mother’s estate:
- Phase 1: Packing and moving 25 truckloads of fine art, antiques and furniture to Link Auction Galleries. My mother was a passionate collector, and Brian’s extensive knowledge of art and antiques was invaluable. What I had anticipated being an emotional and overwhelming experience actually became enjoyable. Brian and his team brought enthusiasm and curiosity to the process, often discussing the history and significance of items as they were uncovered. The move was completed on schedule and within the estimated budget - no small feat given the volume and complexity of the work.
- Phase 2: Because of how well Phase 1 went, I chose The Brass Alligator to handle the estate sale as well. Although I wasn’t present for this phase, I did not have any reservations with providing Brian access to the house in my absence. He kept me informed, especially when uncovering items of personal or financial value I might want to keep, ensuring nothing meaningful was lost along the way. His team cleaned out the house, staged, researched and priced everything, and hosted what turned out to be a record-breaking estate sale.
I enthusiastically recommend The Brass Alligator. After what they accomplished for me, I have no doubt they can tackle any job with professionalism, care, and integrity.”
“Right behind Q-Trip at the top of the hill in with the DMV. A little gem if you've never been there you might find a treasure or two. Little brother found an MCM round radio and an AM radio both priced really reasonably. Some antiques, along with food items, new items, and crafts. Nice warm welcome by the ladies at the desk. The cat was nice and didn't even notice it until my dog saw it. Parking is sparse due to the DMV next door. Check it out you never know what you might find if your in the area.”
“Sorry for the night pic this is my $500 dollar mcm coffee table lol ?I moved here a year ago and this was the third antique I went to. The staff is laid back. So coming here almost a year later, still chill staff”
“I really liked this thrift store. It seemed to be half antiques/half thrifted items. The prices were incredibly fair and they had some sales going on. It's quite a drive from where I live but I plan to check it out again soon!”
“Tom Theiss exceeded our highest expectations when handling our hardware order for our new home. He is an honorable guy who really cares about his clients. It is a pleasure working with Theiss and we strongly recommend doing business with him. Terry and Paul Flotken”

“I went to the May 31 sale in Ballwin. I picked up a few things and saw a dust collector system I really wanted. I left to think about it and of course checked with my wife. So I later went back to the sale and spoke with Becky Kaletka. She suggested since I couldn’t get it that day to put a bid on it, If successful I could get it the next day. It all worked out and Becky let me in early on Sunday to disassemble it and take it out. My Thanks to Becky for working with me to make this happen.”
“Wow this place is packed! Too much to take pictures of.
■Part of a larger strip mall, you'll have plenty of space to park.
■Enormous variety and number of items/booths to browse.
■Seemed like friendly people there, and I'd check every once in a while for anything new.”
“Nice warm welcoming by the ladies when you enter both stores. If you're looking for somewhere just to get out, these 2 stores are ok. I didn't find any treasures myself, but little brother found some cardinal glasses. Prices are slightly higher than most antique malls. Don't look for the street sign. Just turn it into the strip mall, and you'll see it as the street sign is missing. There Alot of primitives, new items, and crafts. No Mid-Century Modern for me. Over-all nice place to visit now and again.”
“This place is UNBELIEVABLE! It appears somewhat hoarderish at 1st glimpse but every step you take you are stepping over a part of history!! Treasures galore!!! The owner is incredibly nice as well!”
“Nice things to choose from. However I needed to leave before purchasing anything. I could not handle the music that was playing. Not a relaxing shopping experience with music playing that I just wanted to run from.”
“During our visit to this lovely historic house, my group of five senior women had a pleasant lunch experience. We appreciated the great service and enjoyed the quality of the food. However, we noticed that the menu is quite limited, offering only one entree for vegetarians. Additionally, we observed that the acoustics in the room furthest from the entrance were poor, with noticeable echo. Perhaps improvements can be made to provide more menu options for vegetarians and address the acoustics for a more enjoyable dining atmosphere.”
“I had an amazing experience at The White Rabbit! The workers were so kind and helpful -- one offered lots of advice on the selection of Christmas Villages at the store, and even wrapped my gift very nicely. Would 100% reccomend this store for any holiday shopping! All the knickknacks were so lovely and beautiful.”
“What a great place to shop for secondhand furniture!! Their selection is nicely curated and displayed, and they have a good variety of pieces. The staff is very friendly and welcoming - I forgot to bring my own tape measure and they very kindly let me borrow one. We found a little loveseat at a terrific price that will be perfect for our living room. One of the staff helped us load it into our vehicle. I plan on going back for any future furniture needs and would definitely recommend this place!”
“Mr. Szelag did a first class restoration of an 1870s painting by my wife's great, great uncle, a world renowned artist. Mr. Szelag renewed the frame as well, which was a big plus since we were used to seeing it in raw condition. The renewal of the painting made us think we were looking at it for the first time, the change was that dramatic.”
“Absolutely 10/10. The staff were amazing, helpful, kind, professional and personable. Three rooms with plenty to look at! I went in with the purpose of stocking my bar glasses and was not disappointed. Even if I was just wandering in I could find something to buy in there. Classic mid-century decor and furniture that looks in great shape. Will be coming back again and again!!!”
“Robert’s great. Very kind and knowledgeable. He has an amazing collection of Chinese exports, superb quality antique furnitures, and fine paintings. He knows his stuff.”
“Was recommended here from the Twisted Whisker between Springfield and St. Louis and was not disappointed! Walked out with two chairs and a bunch of ideas. Good antique furniture, statues and art. Lots of cases too (though I didn’t look through any of those). Safe neighborhood and plenty of parking too - no worries while loading.”
“I got a couple Corningware pieces and happy with what I found. The gentleman behind the counter left us alone to explore and was pleasant during check out. I will be back to this store.”
“We recently purchased an engagement ring and wedding band and wanted to purchase vintage.Timekeepers is the place to go! We went to the location on Olive and found a HUGE selection ofvintage rings that could be used as engagement (or not) rings and a nice selection of vintage wedding bands. The staff was very helpful and patient while I tried on MANY during two visits. Suggestions were also made to look at vintage wedding bands to 'match' the vintage ring, but there was no pressure. However, the suggestion was great as I had no idea on what to choose! I love my 'set' as it is unique, and I loved the experience at Timekeepers. While there, I realized Timekeepers could resize a ring that belonged to my great-grandmother that I haven't worn for years. When I picked it up, it was beautifully sized and beautifully cleaned!!! I now wear it proudly.I also enjoyed looking at the HUGE selection of old music boxes and other entertainment boxes from long ago.I highly recommend Timekeepers.”

“As I encounter more antique malls, I'm starting to come to grips with the fact that most items aren't antiques, and nothing is organized. For example, you can look at books at 12 different points in the store.
But, like other antique malls, this place is sprawling and provides hours of adventure. I also thought their prices were very fair in comparison to some other places I've been.
Even if you don't plan to buy, it's a great place to checkout for an afternoon.”
“I don't know if I was allowed to take photos because I would of easily taken hundreds of photos here. To me, this store was a paradise! I've never seen a store like this before. It's beautiful! It's got everything and more for what you want for your bar! Even if your starting your own in home bar! The highlight of this place are definitely the neon signs, they got old ones like the Red Dog one that I'm beyond thrilled to see because it's hard to find. I could of spent thousands of dollars at this store. It's got so much to offer at prices I can't complain about. One of the best stores at this mall period!”
