“Katie @ Creve Coeur was an absolute rockstar! I called with some challenging embroidery questions & she was on top of it by emailing her regional manager for the information I needed. She explained the next best steps for me to take would be to give the store a call back in a day or so for confirmation I needed to use their embroidery services. Because Katie was so helpful I was willing to wait for her manager to respond to her. We ended the call. About 2 hours later, Katie took it upon herself to give me a call back herself to tell me the information her manager responded with so I didn’t have to wait days and call back and talk to someone new maybe even have to explain it all to that person before getting the information needed. “Ben is nothing short of the finest clothier I've ever worked with, not to mention an absolute gentleman. He never pushes. He never wheedles. He never tries to talk me into something I really don't want. Rather he helps me find the suit I want, and helps me avoid the pitfalls of buying something that looks good in a small square but on me would look clownish. He has excellent taste in his own wardrobe, but he sets that aside because we've spent enough time together that he actually understands my aesthetic and knows what kind of look *I* want to achieve...not the kind of look he wants.Every single item of clothing I've bought with Ben's direction is a garment I'm proud to be seen in.
Now...take all of that and add in that he will come to your home or office to take initial measurements, to do an incremental fitting, and even deliver the finished garments. He has become a trusted friend and advisor. If I look good at all in my wardrobe, it's because Ben made me look good.
Also...gents...if you've never bought a custom fit dress-shirt...just try one. They're a little on the spendy side for me, but once you own one, it's all you'll ever buy.”

“I'd say they classify as a hidden gem. Nonchalant store front, which actually leads to an upstairs store packed with formal wear and accessories. I got the suit I was married in here back in 2017 and had a great experience. Recently went in for a sport coat, selection was very limited in my size, but staff was friendly and helpful.
Their prices seem hard to beat based on what I have seen at department stores. Highly recommend checking them out for suits, shirts, shoes, etc. Everything seemed like a good deal.”

“Forgive me if I got the name wrong, but Max is the man. I frequent all the resale stores in the area and I get recognized by Max every time I come in. Came in yesterday looking for a couple things but they didn’t have what I needed. Told him what I was eyeing up and he came back from the back room with a stack of SB Dunks pretty much exactly the type of releases I like. Instead of just letting me look at display shoes he went out of his way to find stuff they keep stored away to get me hooked up. Ended up walking out with two pairs and super pleased with the pick up and customer service. 10/10, appreciate you guys”
“They were absolutely amazing. They were willing to look up to see if an item i was looking for was at other locations or orderable online. There was a greeting as soon as I walked in the shop and I was smiling as I left. No complaints at all. I wish all shops had this positive of an experience. Will continue to shop there, and I tell people this location is better than some others I've been to in the area. They are super personable and really try to connect with the clients. Love this location the most. It's always clean, and they are super diligent about making sure sales items are marked correctly. If a mistake is made, they own it, and then they fix it, and that is what I love to see. I wish they would come work for the company I work for.”

“Marty is an icon of professionalism. I needed a new suit for my daughter's wedding. Marty helped me make my decision within minutes. He knew what type of suit I needed for the occasion, and after a few minutes of conversation, Marty had a sense for my taste. When I went to pick up the suite, it needed additional alterations for a proper fit. There was no problem- the suit was ready the next day. If you need a cheap suit, Sam Cavato's is definetly not your place. If you want an old school, locally owned buisness that will cater to you with quality, Sam Cavatos is your place. Marty told me he has worked there for nearly a hundred and fifty years. I have a feeling that if I have a problem with my suit a year from now, Marty will be the guy who will set things straight. By the way, second only to the groom, I was by far the best dressed man at the wedding! Thank You Sam Cavato!”
