“I shop here everyday. The management and employees are so friendly. They almost know me by name. It is so refreshing to be greeted by folks who live in my community as if we were close, instead of just getting a half hearted welcome.”

“A large, clean will stocked Dollar Tree. The new concept is a bit confusing at times. They have plenty of cold drinks but they are all together without any prices so the tea that costs $3 is in the same place as $1.25 drinks but you don't know what each costs. Overall a good place to shop with a little of everything. The staff are nice, great selection of cleaning supplies and nice parking lot. Plus they are close to Pancho's Mexican which is a bonus!”

“I love this little store In the middle of the big city. It's an easy place to park and run in and get out. They are always out of milk but other than that they are great.”
“It seems to be operated very well, the employees are available to help the customers in the aisles and keep an eye on things, as well as available at checkout. This and the Liberty one are my favorites.”
“I absolutely love this Dollar Tree! I have a fondness for the old school cinnamon hard candies. I’m a Midwifery Assistant and Birth Doula,so when my mom’s have upset tummies or everything tastes weird, I recommend those and ginger to help settle their stomach(a little bit anyway). I have traveled to 3-4 other Dollar Tree stores and they NEVER EVER have them! However I can ALWAYS count on this store to have them in stock. One time they were in boxes still, I explained my situation and the staff unboxed them right there so I could grab several.”
“A smaller Dollar general doesn't seem to have the same amount of stock as the normal ones do. I think they actually might have a little more of a food selection but their homewares and other random stuff isn't as good”
“The manager here is really kind and amazing. I just moved into the neighborhood and will be shopping here often for the foreseeable future. “Stop by to buy Halloween candy for grandkids and to pass out to kids very good selection, I go to dollar general 1 or two times a week good arts and crafts also good prices on candles and mason jars. Just wonderful store.”

“I visited FIVE different Dollar Trees in the greater KC area yesterday. This Barry Road location was BY FAR the most tidy & organized one! Yes, there were 2 carts with boxes to be shelved, & it was not 100% spotless. And yet it was generally clean, bright, tidy, & stocked - a far cry from the other stores.
The aisles were wide open & accessible, except for those 2 carts, & an employee was actively working to move displaced items. I approached & thanked her, explaining what I’d seen elsewhere. She was very cheerful & polite & seemed genuinely excited to have a store she could be proud of, but I forgot to get her name. The young man at the register, Mo, was also polite & friendly. This makes me want to come back.
I will add that the store had 2 (& both working!) price scanners. That was rare in my findings elsewhere. The other store had none or didn’t work or only had one. Big props for this, with all the price changes happening!
This store had been one I was avoiding, due to its previous lack of organized shelves & overall messiness & lack of cleanliness. I will now add it to my favorites! Dollar tree, take note! Have some pride, managers! It matters!”

“This locations shelves stay decently stocked now the freezers are a different story. However the merchandise manager knows exactly when things are coming in and when you go back they will have everything that you were looking for.”
“My vist on 3/3/26 was a good one. When I walked in I was greeted with a welcome in. I went and got the few things I needed and when I got to the register nobody was at the register. The cashier (her name tag said Tiny) was quick to get to the register before I even had everything out of my cart. She asked me how my day was going and was very attentive about my answer and even asked why my day wasn't going so well. She was very quick and polite and made my day better. She even help carry a few things out to my car. There needs to be more people like her in the world. The store was stalked and neat nothing in the way. Great job.”
“The associates and the managers at this location are cool. Helpful and friendly no matter the shift. The store is pretty well stocked and usually in pretty good order. I go here regularly and only once or twice have they been out of what I came for, and were knowledgeable about when the item would be back in stock. All in all, a good family dollar!”
“I love the clearance aisle that’s 1 dollar for everything you can buy hella cleaning supply there in that aisle for 1 dollar also hygiene essentials like wipes, face wipes, toothpaste soap etc. bandaids they have a wide selection of items there”

She has helped me out on two different times one fixing my cell phone the other one my card would not work but money was on my card and she took time Patience very very inspiring young lady. You can definitely tell that her behavior flows from her inner peace within very clean store very respectful.”
