“I regularly shop here for items at a discounted price ! They have a variety of things that you can get at a decent price and offers all kinds of deals. Great atmosphere,the employees are very friendly and willing to assist.”
“If you like the Dollar Tree chain and know their general layout and logic, this location is a good one. I thought this store was well stocked, not cluttered, and pretty clean with good prices on many things like greeting cards, cosmetics, food/beverage/snack/candy items, and also storage, kitchen, hygiene, cleaning, and seasonal products.
While I am not thrilled the Dollar Tree chain has so many prices when everything used to be a flat $1.00 price point... you have to watch the prices because what used to be $1 might now be $1.25, $1.75, $3, $5 etc. while other stores like Dollar General and many grocery stores have $1 aisles where everything in that aisle is actually $1 or items under $1. Nevertheless, Dollar Tree stores usually have a good variety of a lot of different products for a darn good price all in one place.”

“This is my neighborhood GD.I find the employees very nice and friendly. There is some stuff in the aisles waiting to be stocked but they are doing best they can with probably being short staffed. They have always been helpful and I appreciate them.”
“I love Dollar General. It’s fast in and out. It has everything today. I purchased Valentines cards, Valentines candy Kleenex, gift bags, frozen chicken and the best cheddar cheese slices. You can get almost everything! Oh, yes, I got coffee and brown sugar wonderful place. Great prices. I highly recommend Dollar General Especially the one right here on North Oak Traffic Way around 80th St. they are the best!”

The employee was straightforward and helpful.When I came in, cashier was with a customer and went out of her way to greet me despite being so busy.I imagine it is much harder to provide good customer service when the store is full (I grew up in this neighborhood).”

“Jamal is amazing, he is super helpful and always on top of things in the store, he's by far one of the best employees there. I'm in the store al the time and Jamal, the shorter young gentlemen cashier and the taller gentlemen with the long hair are by far my favorite to deal with. There is one employee I tend to avoid, he's an older gentlemen with blond hair and glasses that is by far so difficult to deal with that if he works I avoid the store if he's there. He is generally unfriendly, slow, un personable, he act like it's an inconvenience if you try to use you dg rewards. If he sees that your going to punch in your number he finally finds the speed and finishes ringing out before you can finish typing it and good luck using your dg cash...”

“Always stocked . Great general store. Home goods, food ( some refrigerated) , cleaning, clothes and more. Store does need updates and there has been a few disturbances to the building. The community is working on that.”

“It had been nearly a year since I braved this store, the last time I was there it was a nightmare of racks so you couldn't shop and one cashier. I left not wanting to return. For convenience sake I went and was pleasantly surprised and on how clean, orderly, and well stocked the store was. Still only one at the checkout but there no line and the cashier was lovely. I noticed men working on making the store the way I described.Dollar General stores have all been a mess with racks of unstocked product, and you can't get to the merchendise. I don't want t to shop them anymore for that reason.Today this Dollar General was a pleasure to shop!Thank you”

“I was shocked! The 64th Street Dollar Tree is the best Dollar Tree location I've ever visited. I go to the Dollar Tree often in KCMO Metro, Chino Hills, California, and Destin, Florida. This is the best one ever. Period!
I live in South KC and happened to be in the Northland and dropped in at this location and was completely WOWWED! The Dollar Trees in South KC, have worn down employees, boxes are all in the aisles, and the shelves are completely disheveled. I'm not sure where I'll find products because they are strewn all over store. The chaotic stores in South KC give me anxiety and I can't wait to get out of there, but NOT the Dollar Tree on 64th Street! I love being in this store. The employees are so nice and professional at this location. The shelves are so organized and well stocked. There were so many items I haven't seen at any other location. The organization here keeps me calm where I can spend more time in the store.
You can tell the employees take pride in their store and their employees must be empowered because they are nice to customers. Whatever management is doing at this store needs to be replicated at every Dollar Tree store.
Some reviews said Martway is the best Dollar Tree in the KC Metro. It does have better stock but it's not better than 64th Street and it isn't that large”
