“This location had more of my grocery needs, particularly granulated sugar, than others in the KCMO Northland. I also discovered great prices on frozen vegetables, making it easier to eat healthily affordably. The staff member who assisted me was very professional, courteous, personable, and efficient.”

“Visited here recently and I don't think we had any complaints. The store was pretty well stocked and had quite a bit of Halloween/Fall decorations for sale. We ended up getting a few things that we didn't plan on which is always a good thing. Overall, the store seems pretty spacious inside as well. There was only one cashier working at the time we checked out so a line was starting to form but the cashier was very quick and friendly. Overall, not a bad Dollar Tree!”

“The employees here are having a tough time. Even so, they’re minimizing letting their frustrations out on customers. That takes a lot of strength.I called in to ask if they had an item in stock. The employee was straightforward and helpful.When I came in, cashier was with a customer and went out of her way to greet me despite being so busy.I imagine it is much harder to provide good customer service when the store is full (I grew up in this neighborhood).”

“The store has really progressed over the recent years. The products are shelved neatly and full. The layout and design is much better and things are easier to find now. I have noticed less shrink from chronic petty theft in the past. The property doesn’t house random panhandlers out front anymore and the trash along the sidewalks and lot is gone. I’d say the building could use an upgrade outside and the parking lot re-paved to do this neighborhood a great justice in serving the community better. The past manager was beloved but the new team at this location made a significant change and we can tell the difference. I don’t feel uncomfortable shopping here anymore and will patronize more in the future.”

“My daughter went into this store to get some snacks. She thought she had more money on her card than she did. When she got to the register is when she realized she didn't have enough. The cashier was so nice to her and paid for her stuff. I wish I knew her name but I don't. I think that was so nice of her. All the workers there are always so nice. Love this location”

“I recently went to Dollar General over on Truman and Hardesty in Kansas City Missouri and I found they had upgraded the store immensely. it was clean, the staff was absolutely wonderful, very helpful, very nice cava and pleasant. all I can say is it did 180% turn around for what it was a year ago. it's a must visit store now. they actually have vegetables fresh and a whole aisle I'm groceries like you would normally find in a regular grocery store considering it being a little convenience store. it was very nice to see these changes. And also the staff we're very helpful. the prices are still good. I found the store to be cleaned and not very busy. it was Daddy parking was okay I would just say that if you haven't been to the new Dollar General store since they upgraded it you must go. that's my opinion. I had no problems there at all. It was an easy in and out experience for me.”

I waited for 20 minutes outside and when the bishop was missing 1 minute, I approached them and they took me out with a great attitude as if I had arrived 1 hour earlier, after that I waited 5 minutes more than the time they had to open and it didn't happen, I didn't have it anymore time and I was there I urgently needed to buy some medicine”

She was friendly, engaging and very kind.She turned my mood from negative to positive with her attitude and the way she treated her guest in store.From a bad experience at Walmart to an amazing experience at this location I will definitely be back and I’m not from this area, but I’ll return just for this young lady’s kindness again! Google maps has been taking me to any empty filds recently instead of DG, so beware lolUpdate Google maps should no longer be taking you to the empty field and I still love this store. The staff is great! It's typically always the same people working and they are so very helpful considering the rude people that they have to deal with sometimes”

“It had been nearly a year since I braved this store, the last time I was there it was a nightmare of racks so you couldn't shop and one cashier. I left not wanting to return. For convenience sake I went and was pleasantly surprised and on how clean, orderly, and well stocked the store was. Still only one at the checkout but there no line and the cashier was lovely. I noticed men working on making the store the way I described.Dollar General stores have all been a mess with racks of unstocked product, and you can't get to the merchendise. I don't want t to shop them anymore for that reason.Today this Dollar General was a pleasure to shop!Thank you”

“Early morning stop by to get something to drink. Has this dollar store changed managers? Very nice & friendly. The last store manager I dont know what the hell her problem was, that's why I had stopped shopping there. Always watching you, like you were coming in there to steal something. But I was in there one day, & this teenager did steal right in front of her eyes. She chased him out the store onto Blue Ridge Blvd. Leaving other customers standing in line.
